But I get annoyed when people get upset about someone assuming being body shamed is for being fat. Usually people do get body shamed for being fat which is a sad thing in our society but it’s true. if you look in her old mean girls performances you can see her having different outfits than the other reginas (wearing skirts instead of pants for example), and that's because the production chose that for her without her permission. she said that people working on the musical (not exactly the cast) were talking about her weight really much behind her back and sometimes she would hear them. also the bunny costume in the musical doesn't have a skirt but she used to wear one because she was uncomfortable (people used to talk about her weight the most when she was wearing that costume on stage) (also she choose to wear that skirt, it was with her permission). but yeah overall people used to talk about her weight a lot back then and even people in the production (mainly them) and she was just 19
same here dear, I always feels ugly back then bcs every girl around me sooo small and shorter than me, I never been overweight, but I working out and have athletic build. I never felt pretty, but seeing her in this movie definitely amazed me and build confidence for me having this kind of body type as well.
That is so inspiring and I think she is perfect the way she is and was amazing in the movie and I feel like she went through a lot and that’s good that she was taken care of in the movie musical
