- Taking the body measurements with the inch tape is a good choice especially when you do not have the weighing scale handy or the body composition machine is not there to understand the success of the weight loss.
sometimes just weighing yourself is not a correct indication of loosing weight because you might be gaining muscles and loosing weight so there would be an inch loss with no change in the weight per say.

@@trinimom7686 nooo that’s not true. You’re gaining muscle but haven’t lost as much fat. That’s why your measurements are similar and the weight is less. Remember muse weighs more than fat but takes less space!
