My daughter and I got to meet her in the fall of 2012 at dallas children's hospital. She came to visit the oncology floor with the kids with cancer. She was so sweet and really down to earth. After she signed the kids stuff we got to chat for a bit while the kids did arts and crafts. And it was around the time her and justin broke up and you could tell she had a lot on her mind. I'm 35 so I'm a lot older than her and been through shitty breakups. And we had a great conversation and she really deserves a good guy and be treated right. Anyways then the news people were interviewing the kids and they talked to my daughter. The lady asked her who her favorite singer was and selena was standing right there next to me and my daughter answers "lady gaga" lol selena just laughed and said she loves gaga too. I have the videos up on my channel if anyone wants to see it. Also met her cousin that lives like 30 mins from me and she was just as cool.
the reason I love Selena so much is bc of how different she is from the rest, even though her vocal range isn't the largest, she is still such an incredible artist, her music is so good I wish she released more
