Next time use a vapor barrier on the clay - crystal clear or a vinyl spray sealer. This will keep the “ face coat” from sticking.

잘봤습니다. 제겐 슈퍼카중에서 유일하게 라페라리만 좋아하는데.. 열악한 환경에서 제작과정보구 만들수있다는것에 감동했습니다.
어떻게 제작하는건지 전혀 몰랐는데.. 정말 신기합니다.. 다음영상엔 라페라리 모양새가 보이기 시작된다고 상상하니 너무나 기대되네요.

Hello from India. I have been following your car making for quite sometimes. i have seen your earlier car videos and also the latest bugatti, Pagani and now Ferrari. I don't know your language. But I think the final car body you produce there remain lot of breaking points. those may get cracked if driven rigorously. Hope to be proven wrong. thanks

@ well first of all I am not at all an expert. What I have seen so far in your videos that you are placing square or rectangular pieces of carbon fibre clothes side by side and applying epoxy over. But in my view between two clothes there remains a line where there is no continuous reinforcements of carbon fiber, only epoxy glue. Hence the strength of that part is different from rest of the body, probably less. If you use long continuous cloth rather than small pieces, the body Will get uniform strength. Once again I am not an expert. I hope to be proven wrong. You may watch videos of buidercreator . Where a gentleman from America is building his own super car. He has posted very informative videos on carbon fiber reinforcement. Thanks and good night.

I wonder how much more expensive it would be to do at least SOME of the body using forged carbon molding rather than all fibreglass. It wouldn't be as strong as woven carbon, but it would be both lighter and stronger than fibreglass. Forged carbon looks great too. Better than woven IMO.

One tip for you guys: after seperating the moulds from clay prototype, you have fiber glass moulds. At this point take another plastic or silicone mould from them to make newer replikas off them. Think about this tip.

Respect to you group Bro..you can also apply release wax after finishing your clay prototype for easier removal of casted mould...hope this could help on your future projects..
Use a hairdryer on the clay if you really want the smoothest finish possible but great watching you chaps use your skills to work and mold the car body 👍

I am a big fan of what you gentlemen do. Such ingenuity and attention to detail. You fellas have an eye for design. Excellent work as always, and I cannot wait to see the finished product!
***Just a side note - I am a pulmonary physician in the USA. I would highly recommend all of you wear respirators - i.e. N95s - while doing this type of work. You are exposing yourself to inordinate amounts of fiberglass and glue, and when inhaled over time this can severely and permanently damage your lungs. Regular surgical masks unfortunately will not suffice. If you cannot source N95 masks for yourselves, then I recommend you to wear KN95s at the BARE minimum, and if you do so, I would double mask with a surgical mask on top of the KN95. However, an N95 would be HIGHLY recommended. Best of luck gentlemen, and keep up the amazing work!

What is the amount of time it had taken to get to this stage? I bet it is twice as fast as the Chiron! Nice job!! I really admire the drive you guys have. The improvements you have made such as building the car's skeleton on a fixed ground and so on are some of the good ideas you integrated. I think you can use the already constructed frame for another la-Ferrari 😉👏👏

Kể ra chế tạo hàng loạt thì ngta dùng khuôn , chế tạo 1 chiếc làm luôn vỏ trên nền đất sét như đợt đầu xe Ferrari đỏ, bugati thì dùng khuôn thạch cao rồi

You need to put braces on each mold piece to avoid distortion. You can use wood or metal and then fiberglass over the braces to make sure the pieces are stiff .This should have been done when the mold was on the body of the car .Also if you store the mold pieces outside and they are leaning against something, the heat of the sun will cause distortion in the pieces .Overall, good job !

Great job guys looking pretty good, I build custom trikes and although I don’t use clay but foam insulation for forming parts with plaster and body filler, then spray this with a coat of paint and apply a gel coat over that , after this the fibreglass glass comes off no problem from the gel coat, hope this could help👍

It had to be very discouraging to the guys when the fiberglass molds didn't peel of easily and the clay from the template stuck to the molds. Was to hang in there and push through your issues and congratulations on completing a huge step toward the making of a Ferrari body. Well done and I enjoy watching this process, it is looking great so far.

You should also feature the inside part How you clean, redurbished and modify the egine.
Looks great guys... But next time you should use a release agent or release film onto the clay before the surface mould layer, then it wouldn’t stick to the clay 👍🏻😀

Hi. Amazing work and so inspiring! You guys are getting better and better at this. I'm very proud of you. Just wondering if you could coat the clay with the paste mold release or with something else like vegetable oil... Something that would prevent the fiberglass from trying to bond with the clay. Is that a possibility?

If you had covered that clay with clear thin plastic a few times you could have peeled the glass right off of the clay. Try it with a small object you'll see.
