They are trained from childhood to respect elders and the weak. It's even evident in their languages. They address elders and peers differently while talking. So there's a small element of culture too in my opinion.

Why does noone talk about how nice the chinese people are? In every video I've seen they treat each other like they were family. Even calling each other sister or brother sometimes. If that happend in my country, most people would look away or just help without saying any words.
A small advise here , why not gift some shopping voucher or some small gift to those who willing to help . to who ever read my comment , You are awesome . :)

How did everyone have time to take her home? I’m sure most people were heading somewhere specifically. This baffles me as an American from a big city. You’d be lucky to have one person even offer to push you home.
