- This video is of me showing you how I wheelie the Ninja 400. Only have 2.5 months experience practicing wheelies so far. I have been asked in the comments how I perform wheelies on the ninja 400. This video should cover it. If you have any other questions just drop a comment below.
Have a blessed day! đ€đŒ and thank you for watching :)

What rpms are u doing it at
9000 I think Iâm not rlly sure. I go by engine sound and feel lol
@@sendysent nice I been practicing my wheelies but gotta change out the clutch friction pads I think I burned them up when I was learning how to shift but my shifts are a lot better with in the my first year this is my 2nd year of riding a motorcycle I learned how to get the wheel up by dumping the clutch but I'll get there soon with practice
why even making a tutorial video if you cant answer a basic question like that@@sendysent
You donât go by RPMâs lol. It depends how fast youâre going. There is no such thing as magic number for RPMâs to wheelie. You go by engine feel. Also, if you watch the video I explain this is coming from a beginners perspective. I had two months practice at this point. Just trying to show others how I learned to get the wheel up. Just picked up a Ninja 400. I'll be trying wheelies in no time. Had a Interceptor 750 back in the day that I loved to wheelie on. Love my 400! I have a Mustang too. You should check it out. It's one of a kind.
Hell yeah thatâs awesome! Iâll for sure check it out. Wheelies are so much fun on the 400. Its an amazing bike. Especially for the money. I wish I kept my ninja 400 but Iâm running out of room in garage and only have space for my zx6r
The random voice edits is hilarious. " HOLY SHIT!" fckn got me
Thank you Lilly! đ Glad you liked it. Iâll start including more of those in my future videos. Itâs nice to add some humor to the videos
I told myself this was PA and sure enough saw the sheetz and the 412 area code. It felt so familiar đ€Ł I'm just north of ya an hour, riding on a blue and purple 90s Ninja 500. Cheers dude! Ride safe and have fun!
Haha thatâs funny. I guess you can tell it looks like the Mon Valley. I bet that blue and purple ninja is badass looking. Sounds like a sweet color combo. You too man ride safe! And I actually upgraded to a 2023 zx6r a few months ago. I love it
@@sendysent I had a similar story to you except that I started at 17 with 2 stroke motorized bicycles and then realized I wanted something that could go faster and farther without immediately breaking down lol. Coming up on my third year of riding now and I'm really happy with my 1993 EX500 for my first bike with, I'd guess, ~40 HP to the wheel (50hp crank, new) after 30 years. It has its quirks, but it's a fun bike. I have a couple vids on my channel. The YT Short I have on there is from the start of the season without fairings and still needed some work. I cant begin to imagine the power on that zx-6r đ Must be a blast, take care!âïž
â ââ ââ ââ ââ @@ChristopherT_sounds like itâs power is on par with the modern day ninja 400âs which is pretty impressive since itâs a â93. Probably fun ripping it around on the twisties. But yeah the zx6r is a blast. I definitely recommend it as your next upgrade đ€đœ Iâll check out that Yt short
Nice â€
This color man đ
Thank you! I loved the Nightshade Teal. Sadly I had to trade it in a few weeks ago for my KRT edition zx6r đ The lime green is growing on me though. I love it.
It looks like u pull the bars harder for power wheelie compared to clutch up, in my UNprofessional opinion.
Learned a lot watching this, ty
Hey bro great video, Iâm at work at the moment and I was flipping through CZcams and I came across this video, and the more I watched this video in straight up started having major dĂ©jĂ vu I mean seriously I was starting to think that I was tripping. I just bought a 2023 ninja 400 and Iâve had my eco-boost for about nine months of course not identical stories but a lot of similarities. I am getting ready to start my step and build on my ninja. I mean, straight up impacktec cage, sub cage, sproket, Stan, think the whole 9 yards . Iâm getting ready to start posting some videos. Iâve always wanted to do it and Iâm going to start. I just bought a Insta360 camera, so maybe one of these days youâll be flipping through CZcams and maybe youâll come across one of my videos and youâll think the same thing. I donât know but I just wanted to say hi and great video
Thanks for watching bro đđœ such a coincidence. I honestly know exactly what you mean bc what are the chances. Thatâs pretty sick. Iâve had my EcoBoost since February. Only added Borla ATAK full system and BOV. As for the ninja thatâs an awesome idea man. Thatâs what I did w my 2023 zx6r. Impaktech Race Rails and subcage. I plan on getting a steel frame, impaktech rear sets, steel subframe/12 bar next year sometime for even more protection. Love seeing new creators. Itâs super refreshing to see on my feed. Iâll definitely sub up. Looking forward to your videos đthe 360 camera is sweet too bro. I want one. YT is a fun hobby as well and you get to learn how to edit a little bit. Iâm still not good at editing but Iâm sure that takes time. Ride safe out there and be careful practicing them wheelies đđœ
Big cruisin
Bro I swear half the cars look like cops in the mirrors
Facts, Them damn white and black SUVâs đ
Been doing clutch ups in 1st on my n400, but feel like 2nd doesnt really have enough power, could be wrong though I've also only got about 2 months of wheelie practice under my belt.
Thanks for watching bro đŻ I think a bigger rear sprocket will do the trick for 2nd gear. I also can do clutch wheelies but canât ride them out as good as I do with power wheelies. I can hit higher speeds with the power wheelies for some reason. Working on clutching up to second so I can ride it out longer. Thatâs the goal for this year. Stay safe and wear your gear đȘđœ
What color scheme you plan on getting when you get the zx-6r bro? After i get my ninja thats what i wanna move up to as well .
I got the KRT edition. I love it
The stock clucth is pretty weak.
It makes it really hard to clutch up in any gear.
Heavy duty clutch spring + clucth arm return spring really do the trick.
Lots of options for better friction plates too.
Thatâs why I only did power wheelies on the 400. I knew of the clutch issues back in 2021 when I got the bike. www.norton-motorsports.com/kawasaki-ninja-400-clutch-slipping-poor-shifting-false-neutrals-and-dropping-gears-explained-and-fixed/. I traded it for a zx6r. Doing wheelie on that now. Itâs so much smoother I love it đ€đœdefinitely recommend the upgrade
So are you just doing power wheelies?
Rippin
Can I use a clip out of this for a motorcycle edit on TikTok? Great video BTW
Thanks man. Most definitely đ«Ąđ€đœ
when you do these wheelies are you cutting the throttle for a split second to 'bounce' the front end? or do you just ease off the throttle before getting it?
Your putting load on the rear tire for traction and easier to pop up. Roll on roll off. Then yank
What clutch and break lever do you have bc my clutch lever is to thick to fit into the bike
Either CRG or ASV but I honestly canât remember. I installed them in the beginning of 2021.
might be easier to get into 2nd if you clutchless shift at 10-11k instead of taking it to redline.
You honestly need a bigger rear sprocket to get it up in 2nd! I actually donât have the ninja 400 anymore. I traded it in for a 2023 zx6r KRT edition last week. Thanks for watching đŻ new video on the zx6r coming soon
Hay so i got the 2023 ninja 400 bern practing clutch wheelies. Still learning not at balance point yet. Does it matter how fast your going in 1st ? Ive only been doing mine between like 8 to 12 mph. Sometimes i get it way up sometimes idont still got along way to go. But I'm alwaya keepn my foot on that rear break.
The faster the wheelie the easier it is. I just started wheelies on my 23 zx6r and they are getting really easy. I can ride them out pretty far now. It also helps because the bike has a lot more power. Definitely keep that rear brake covered and ride safe! Have fun practicing and take your time
@sendysent thanks I'll start practing closer to to 15 to 20 then. I've been doing it like that 12 mph range for a few months. The rear break tip is crucial glad I watched your video back then before I started. And the zx6r was a good choice that's going to be my 2nd bike
Needed this vid
Gotchu đđœ thanks for watching
What alpinestars jacket is that?
alpinestars rideknit jacket and pants đŻ mad comfortable. Feels like second skin
Is this completely stock? Or have you changed out sprocket or anything?
Stock sprockets
Ill be damned, I got my 400 awhile back and I'm trying to get the hang of actually putting it back up on one wheel. You recommend power wheelies in first or clutch ups to start? @@sendysent
@leanin Iâll be real with you man. I didnât start doing wheelies until my 5th year into riding with 15k miles under my belt. Is this your first bike? Make sure to master throttle control down before you start getting that wheel up or you will whiskey throttle and loop it. Also, hold the throttle like a screw driver. It prevents whiskey throttle. Mad Maxy taught me that. But to answer your question if you plan on dropping your bike and become a good stunt rider I would recommend clutch wheelies. I have no desire to become a stunt rider thatâs why Iâm cool riding out power wheelies. To each their own though. I donât want to drop my $13k zx6r lol worked hard for it. So Iâm sticking to chasing wheelies for the rest of my life. If you plan on finding balance point make sure you plan on dropping your bike bc it will happen in a matter of time. Hope that helps đđœ stay safe
@@sendysent aye I genuinely appreciate the response and tips my man! I did just get my first bike, the ninja 400 about a couple months ago, im familiar with riding manual things but obviously every clutch is going to be different. I 100% agree with you on actually mastering the throttle control with clutch. I havenât tried clutch up wheelies as my balls arenât that size yet but Iâve tried a couple times to power wheelie it and to no avail, im probably just overthinking it and not giving it enough throttle. But i really havenât dove deep into the world of wheelies yet just kinda getting my feet wet. I just genuinely didnât even know you could power wheelie my bike lmao
That clutch is going to wear out fast. How do i know? I had to replace a clutch on my n400
I have the replacement on deck my guy đŻ Iâm already aware thanks for watching đ€đœ
@@sendysent I got it completely replaced under warranty like the whole clutch system replaced. It would have cost 1thousand dollars.

What exhaust do u have?
LV-10 carbon fiber, later in the video I do a walk around the bike đ€đœ
so you get to like 20mp in 1st gear then just pull as hard as you can?
Roll on then roll off then chop the throttle. Sheâll come up đŻ. Clutch wheelies are safer though if youâve never done power wheelie before like on a dirtbike or like even a surron/Talaria. Practice in parking lot đ€đœ
Where did you get your gas cap from? Looks amazing
Thank you. Itâs actually just a carbon fiber gas cap cover đ€đœ
I can't wheelie for shit, but im just aaking why cover the rear brake if your bike isn't getting up that high? Or is it not getting up that high because your on the rear brake? Just a general question for knowledge
Itâs good for muscle memory when you do eventually get that high
Ehh fair enough, i never remember to cover my rear brake...i need to work on that
can you wheelie a abs ninja 400?
Yeah
this bike flashed? idk how you be getting to 30 mph in 1st without it just screaming at the top of its lungs lol
Stock
@@sendysent am I just sending it too high of rpms then? I'm redlining at like 24 mph in first on my clutch ups, maybe I'm just blipping it too hard?
@Terrible_Chad if youâre clutching up Iâd go up a tooth or two in the rear sprocket and do clutch ups in second gear. You can power wheelie up to 32 mph in 1st
15 min videos
Bro I cannot seem to clutch up on my ninja 500
Why not?
@@sendysent idk itâs the one with abs but I try to clutch up it just jerks forward I cannot figure it out
You dropping the clutch? Is it slipping?
@@sendysent no itâs not slipping the grab point is just way out
I love the color I have the exact same bike. Vids on my channel
Yeah the teal is sick. I hope they come out with another teal version
The R7 is not a good choice after the 400 just go 636
lol
