I got it From. a shop in Toronto but can't remember the name. Just Google Donaldson prefilter and you'll find a rep near you. I've been using them For years and they are awesome.
+PowerModz I'm not insulting the clark, just thought those winches could lift the skidder up in the air if ya wanted it to. Like I said, never ran a skidder so just curious. Love the vids.
+Jason Jaeger it's all good..With the loads I've pulled I'm pretty sure it would lift the machine Off the ground. If done lots of winching over the years And this one Is strong...Lots stronger than my dozer winch.
+PowerModz Never got to use one yet, none of our equipment(road construction) have winches. Would love to work in the woods though, had my fill of smelling blacktop.
it's in low, it'll spin the tires usually but you cant see the log that runs between the front and rear tires - that's what Im hung up on - it is about 20 inches and it binds up the tires.
Just had the rack set up with new injectors, it's got lots of power But that log had it locked pretty good...Hard to tell from the video. When the front and rears have a log jammed between them The tires Work against each other If you can picture it.
Things happen. Just have to power through.
Power!!
shes a beast!
My dad had a Clark skidder in the early 80's and could out pull new Cat skidders
Get a block pulley double winch line double pull force.
that thing has a lot of power
That thing is beast
i dont know how far cam was from the tow line, but please keep clear, if it snaps, it will cut things in half!!!
nice work
the tires should still spin
I see u were having fun off roading lol
good job
Damn
If you could only have one would it be the skidder or your dozer?
Skidder can do both. :P
+Kyle Gale So can a dozer. BUT it has the advantage of tracks!
Two very different machines, the dozer can stil make roads and haul but not like a skidder can - the dozer can also lift.....i need both!
My Belgians never get stuck
where did you buy the pre filter assembly from

Figured the winch could pull that out no problem, must not have as much pull as I thought. Never ran a skidder, just dozers, graders, etc.
It's a 20 ton seemed to pull fine To me

+Jason Jaeger oh it's nice in the bush I could do it Every day.
does the high low range not work it should spin all 4 pretty easy in low range looks like it struggles a bit

+PowerModz ahh i see we have to give it some credit as it is an older machine, to the floor and skidding lol
you still own the turbo Viking?
Yes hopefully going to a tuner with it By the end of summer.
how many acres do you have there?
300
+PowerModz thats a nice slice of heaven!
The rack might also need to be adjusted to get the proper rpm to get on the converter. Just trying to help you out. Sorry if I'm to nosy. Lol
