The 2 on the cover are indeed green lanterns, Jessica cruz and simon baz. They're newer charachters so most people aren't very familiar with them yet unless you're a green lantern fan.
And as of a recent JL book one of them isn't alive anymore.

Noah Shelby Jessica Cruz is so much more interesting than Simon Baz (also does anyone else thing that Simon Baz has a really weird suit or is that just me)
@@charliehayward3949 I actually prefer his suit over Kyle Rayner's weird mask thing. It has ALWAYS bothered me for some reason.
And I have the unpopular opinion of liking Simon over Jessica, tbh.
but I dont hate her tho.
Jessica Cruz is ok but to me Jordan and Stewart are the only real good green lanterns

As someone who has always liked DC better than marvel I must find this book for my collection love it. Btw Diana Prince it's just a name made up for man's world. She don't actually have a last name. It's just Diana in most cases. No one on themyscira has last names.

Jen and comics is the most ambitious crossover event in history!
The OG Justice League was actually comprised of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Hal Jordan Green Lantern, The Flash (Barry Allen), and Martian Manhunter. Cyborg was a far more interesting character when he was mainly a member of the Teen Titans, than when they retconned him to be a founding member of the League in the New 52. He’s been relegated to being a living Google and teleportation generator, and his character has suffered of having the same storyline over and over and over (of him struggling with whether he is more man or machine, and accepting himself for what he is now). Where as before that, he was a leader of the Titans, someone who was able to share wisdom with younger heroes and show them the right way, helping them to reach their true potential. He suffers just like every other Titan though, to be honest, because other than Nightwing (sometimes), they just completely underutilize them and often seem to forget they exist.
Wow excellent video!! Love these super hero book go thru's. Please do more of them. Both of Marvel and DC if you can. An Avengers collection book like the JL one would be awesome as well. Keep up the great work!!

She uses Diana Prince in "Man's World" but Amazons don't really have last names so she usually is just Diana.
Plastic Man was before Elongated Man. They created Elongated Man when Carmine Infantino wasn't sure if they actually owned Plastic Man. Plastic Man was originally created by Quality Comics and DC purchased some of their characters.
Is that name where Infantino Street comes from (where Iris was “killed” in S3 of the Flash)

The original green lantern was actually Alan Scott but he's not a member of the green lantern corps Hal Jordan is the second Green Lantern and the main Green Lantern.

if you'd like to know more about Aquaman Geoff Johns's Aquaman run is the definitive Aquaman for me. More enjoyable (in my opinion) to read than any of Peter David’s runs. The first arc -The Trench- has art by Ivan Reis and it's a delight to look at.

Comic book flip through! YAY!!! Wait that's not ASMRy......"yaaaaaay!". The GL early on (~4:40) is Hal Jordan. The one from the movie that will not be discussed. He *is* a really good pilot but got bad performance reviews. Yup, no Deathstroke yet.
Time for Jen to do some screenwriting for DC. Jen. They need you badly.

TBH I think you would actually like *Justice League International* (the team with Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, Ice, etc.) It's a group of losers - really (and I mean that fondly.) No one takes them seriously because they are all C listers. The art is a little old fashioned - its something I struggle with myself but the series is REALLY good.
Apart from that *Young Justice* (1998) & *Teen Titans* vol 3 (2003) might be up your alley.
as well as *Robin* vol 4 series. (1993)
Just as a side note though, YJ comes before TT
and Robin is a little interlaced throughout.
Personally, I read a good chunk of Robin first, and then moved to YJ and Teen Titans gradually.
