ultimate tech, put darkhawk in your own arishem deck. Im honestly thinking about getting like quinjet, mocking darkhawk and almost all out tech.
I think the biggest Pro for him is that he lets you play with every card in the game. I have to invest in one card and I get to play cards that I don't even have.
Wave is a must in this deck more so then mocking bird and quinjet imo. You play it on turn 2, and only you can take advantage of her ability on turn 3 because your opponent cant play a 4 cost with three energy.
So either turn 2 or bust, so gotta draw it in all those cards , . Yeah deff worth

I think Arishem will be a meme. Fun for players who enjoy chaos and randomness, but for those that prefer to have a plan to climb the ladder it will not be fun. I believe its downside can be minimized with cards like Quinjet, Mocking and Blob as you mentioned in the video, but I also see cards like Loki bringing more consistency, Phastos for even more energy cheating, Corvus Glaive to be ahead by 2 energy and to free up your hand. I can see random cards with no previous connection fitting into an Arishem archetype, but I think once the achertype is defined, there will be little variation to it and the deck will require certain cards to be played in a more "controlled" fashion for Infinite ladder.
Yep. Arishem will be part of my fun deck rotations once i hit infinite. Cause i dont care about my rank once im in that category. Just looking for craziness and completing my quests.
I think Corvus isn't actually good since with extra energy you are more likely to be out of cards in hand rather than having an excess of them.

Arishem reminds me of the card Shupe from Gwent. Shupe is a card that only works if your deck has no duplicates or, in other words, you must tank the consistency of your deck in order to play this card but in return, you get one of the most powerful and unique effects in the game. The gameplan for both Arishem and Shupe is basically the same: you play a bunch of engineless midrange cards to slam points and hope your opponent can't keep up. As it turns out, Shupe is a good card worth building around, and has been regularly featured in competitive tournaments as well as in high MMR. Arishem will be too.
The way to beat Arishem will be to hope he draws poorly or play a highly synergistic combo deck that can go over the top of him since, like Loki, he will beat up on midrange "good cards" decks.
Don't you bad talk Loki. He's the only card I bought a border for because the Green was too hard to pass up on.

Arishem is especially good for new and series 3 players because he lets them play with cards they don't have. I remember losing game after game to cards I don't have when I was building my collection, almost made me quit the game.
Seems like solid, standalone cards that don't require synergy will be good with Arishem. Loki too so you can remove the random junk in hand.
Quicksilver seems like it might actually be good for an Arishem deck. Good insurance for spider ham, thin out your deck, possible one drop for any Arishem generated hope summers, cull obsidian, etc.
Thanos + Shem + Agatha, might as well go full rng.

Yeah I’m getting this card for the Fun factor. I don’t expect this card to be competitive but winning differently every game is gonna feel awesome.
I will go for Arishem (need Hercules also) but I think he will be there to return Darkhawk to meta, not too sure can he get competitive. Will try him with Loki tho.
What does this mean for sersi? She will be turning all 6 cost cards into arishem right. Does this make her a bit worse? 😅
I duno she works that way, death is 9 cost and sersi didn't transform 6 cost into death.

Death costs 8 guys... The answer is yes, it is a slight Sersei Nerf, a 6 cost will turn into Arishem and Arishem will turn into Death.

Ah this mad me happy and excited to get him. I’m imagining a sera control shell with a bunch of big things and it’s making me smile. Or a Loki shell and things get even spicier. Or destroy. Or tribunal. The possibilities are endless…
I've been playing shield Dino and it's really fun. Arishem looks similar, looking forward to it.
SHEILD Dino was always one of my faves, but it's felt really weak due to the power creep this year. When when you get everything perfectly on curve, often you just get overpowered.
Adam warlock and Phastos are my sneaky picks for this deck

I am excited about this card. So much fun. Very hard to predict play.
Very unsure if he will be actually good or just a meme. But I think I will pick him up with tokens just for the fun of it. I will wait a few days for weekend missions and see how he works. He could be powerful for players that are used to playing Loki.

I think a card like phastos that you need to play turn 3 (or 2 with arishen) is pretty bad in a 24 cards deck. I think you need good stats cards with 3 and 4 cost to make good use of the energy. I hope Adam find a home and see play.

These are interesting decks. But I lack Mockinbird and Blob. What could be substitutes for the both of them?
Honestly - anything you like! Since you draw cards from your deck less often with Arishem, missing specific ones often doesn't matter. I would just recommend some big cost/power cards.
Thanos and arishem in the same deck is my plan. I haven’t played the game in over a month but I still have a couple spotlight keys and I’ll re-download the game just to have some fun with this card.

I’ve mentioned this before, but deck trackers show which cards are added to your deck like stones or rocks, if a deck tracker is able to show you the cards added by Arishem that’s a HUGE advantage

Now ari might be bad, but I wouldn't sleep on it, there's no way to know.

Old Adam Warlock would have a home in a Arishem deck. He would be to Airishem what Quinjet is to Loki.
How does this card work? you'll draw a hand first before replacing your deck or it'll replace your deck first?
Your deck doesn't get replaced - you get +12 cards added. Your opening hand may have 2 cards you put in your deck and 1 random card, for example.

Quinjet, Crystal, Phastos, Okoye, Mockingbird, Blob, Morph?, Daredevil, Armor, what else would be good with it?
enchantress against darkhawk since you cant warranty a draw of blob, wave since you can play her before your opponent have four energy, some bad cards can be just fine like m baku and warlock since you have less chances to draw mbaku and you can play warlock on turn 4
Crystal, Phastos, and Okoye are all bad. They are bad to begin with, and they don't get any better with Arishem because what you're not understanding is opportunity cost. Crystal is only good in combo decks in which you almost always win if you draw your combo, so you don't care that Crystal is helping your opponent draw a card. With Arishem, Crystal probably isn't helping you draw a win condition but rather just another randomly generated card (or Arishem himself), whereas Crystal is probably always helping your opponent because the cards in their deck actually synergize with each other, or they're also playing Arishem and getting a free card draw thanks to your Crystal. Okoye and Phastos are only good on the first three turns, and Arishem makes them less than half as likely to be drawn. So you're using two out of 11 card slots on potentially useless cards? You want to know what would actually be good; the answer is generically good cards that work in any deck, so like Jeff, Nocturne, White Widow, Red Guardian, Shang-Chi, and Red Hulk. War Machine will be useful in case Arishem gives you cards that you otherwise can't play. Loki and Devil Dinosaur will be good for when your hand is full of cards that you don't want to play. Maybe also consider cards like Jubilee, Blink, and Sersi to get extra value.

Should people pull for him? I say yes and he is a must get. Also everyone hold their butts because we'll be seeing dark hawk everywhere next week, hell I'm sure that people will be putting dark hawk in ashriam decks.
Reminds me of the Insanity deck from original VS. Intriguing but not viable at all.
There's no way you can competitively slot in any one cost cards. Quinjet will not be drawn often enough to deserve a slot. You need lane stealing cards that can stand alone with zero reliance on combos.
Auto includes are Blob, Enchantress, Shang, Mockingbird, Loki. After that you want surprise/restriction. Options include Storm/Magneto//Green Goblin/Legion. Coulsen will have more value than usual to round out your curve. Tech cards will also have more value. Depending on the meta one or more of Cosmo/Mobius/Shadow King /Killmonger might deserve a slot.
Arishem should be a super fun B tier card that rewards higher skilled players.
Loki and devil dino will be must in arishem deck cuz loki makes a bad hand into the best hand
Just curious why you aren’t using wave at all? She can be busted if you got her on turn two you get to take advantage of her when no one else gets too
Wave can work too! You won't draw her by turn 2 often and you're going to be playing ahead of curve regardless, but she is a solid option.

You can add the new card that takes the last card played to the highest cost card or sage.

Quinn Jet, Collector (if he works with the new cards), Wave, Phastos, Mocking Bird, Sersi, Blob and Enchantress or Shang for unprotected Darkhawk and you've got a stew going.
Collector only powers up when cards get added to your hand by methods other than card draw - Arishem doesn't do that.

The biggest problem with this card is that you're getting 12 cards. That means you're doubling your deck size, which means you're less likely to get the cards that you actually put in the deck. Given how many nonsense cards exist in marvel snap, I just don't see this card being consistent enough to be good. Maybe if they decrease the amount of cards that you get to like 10 or even 8... The only way that Thanos works is by having the stones have the ability to cycle for new cards. This card has none of that because card draw just doesn't exist in this game. The alternative to decreasing the amount of cards that you get is to make it so that you draw an extra card every turn, but then this card would likely be broken with that mechanic on there as well.
Defo feels like a token pull over cache purchase, i just dont rate herc or bs ( plus theres way too many good cards coming out )

Super Skrull doesn't copy Darkhawk's power if their deck is smaller, but Enchantress and Rogue could be very useful!

That's a huge difference that I talk about in the video.
District X is the location that replaces your deck (The Triskelion fills your hand but Arishem doesn't do that). But District X pops up randomly - you don't plan for it. When you play Arishem you are PURPOSELY putting yourself in a District X kind of scenario. Consent matters😅

He will be above rate in balanced non control heavy metas.

Just remember that Pixie won't shuffle the costs of the random cards Arishem adds - only the cards that started in your original deck.
True but if you get lucky and pull her early, you could play her turn 1 for maximum chaos. It probably won’t be very reliable but when it happens it could be alot of fun.

darkhawk popularity will increase with arishem popularity but arishem popularity will decrease with darkhawk popularity meaning these two will be in a eternal (pun unintended) fight for popularity

This may be the card which saves this game as it became extremely stale and boring. I have a few questions though - can Arishem create another Arishem and if so does he activate as well? If Arishem creates Agatha, does she start in your hand?
My guess is no and no because they get added after Arishem triggers, but I'm those will be fun interactions to test out!

The point of playing a game like Snap is to have fun.
People get bored of playing the same decks in the same meta.
Arishem gives you a new deck to play every single game. He keeps things fresh, fun, and might end up as one of the most played cards because of it.

You misunderstood the video.
That section is FLOOR & CEILING - the WORST & BEST scenarios. They don't happen in the same game.
Some games you see the Floor, and some games you see the Ceiling. Like a Silver Surfer deck where your draws suck and you don't draw Silver Surfer vs a game where your draws are great and you see Sera and Silver Surfer.
Every card has a range of outcomes. The whole point of that segment is to evaluate the range and consistency that cards see.
