It looked like the part didn’t properly go into the opening at the very end, and was also rotated 180 degrees compared with the other finished parts. Was there any intention behind that?
Dear Gopi, there was no intention behind it, this is just for demonstration purposes in this video.
Its just how DMG work.

Just out of curiosity, what’s that purple bead and how does it ensure tolerance accuracy?
The purple bead is the probe tip of the probe. The tip probes the workpiece (tactile probe). The size of the probe tip varies according to the size of the workpiece.
