Archery + Backwards Jump, and you're pretty much a god. Master those invulnerability frames, and the Ancient Napdragon never stood a chance. Even had a warrior hire me to help him with it. I told him to wait in the guild, then delivered the bounty to him.

This song played for a solid half hour while I was fighting the ancient dragon merely just to max out my dagger skill. My friend thought I was insane and awesome at the same time to go up against that with only a level 6 dagger.
You hear this song for the first time and after hearing all of the mellow, and whimsical music in game, you're just like "...What's going on here?" And then you get one shot by whatever started the song. I know I did.

Didn't do max damage and I had complete disadvantage as far as armor goes. One or two slips would've lost me the battle. But that backwards jumping ability Hunters get is BEYOND broken when you master the timing of your opponents, and the jumping. Just back jump and hop yourself into a corner, and every attack it does deals 0 damage when you're in the rhythm of back jumping the moment your foot touches the ground. So when I handed the bounty to my friend, he asked how the heck I even pulled it off without any max-tier gear on. I told him "Hunters have I-Frames. What's the point of upping your defense if you're not going to get hit?"

Lord of the Cursed is the boss for the Creator challenge btw. He hits like a truck. I took almost 300 damage in one attack at level 50. Haven't tried it since.
Get ready for a truly epic boss battle: cutting down a tree! Bring it, inanimate object! Seriously, though, this song rocks. Even if it's hard to take it seriously when it plays while you're fishing, mining, or woodcutting against a "boss" fish, deposit, or tree.
I remember the first time I heard this, I had just finished a battle with some cacto and out of nowhere the Lord of the Dead attacked me and nearly killed me in three hits. Definitely an appropriate soundtrack for fighting Hades.
***** Only one fish has this as a theme that I have found thus far, and it's the Golden Swordfish that can appear in the same whirlpool as the normal Swordfish.

I like how this music doesn't just play for COMBAT "bosses". First time I heard this was in Tortuga Archipelago against some swordfish-looking fish in the whirlpool. (which I failed to catch, lol) I haven't run into any instances in which this plays crafting skills though, unless they're waiting in the hero and legendary rank recipes, or something.
The Lord of the Dead really startled me, I was like "okay, big boss, avoid until I level up" and then it saw me AND THIS FUCKING MUSIC. First time I ever heard that theme, and I noped the fuck out of there.

And then you hear it during the challenging mining or woodcutting events and even this theme ends up being silly too.
Wizard, by far the most overpowered life to fight bosses with. I am only level 25, beaten every single major fight i've seen up to and including the lord of the dead. Laura, you're a great human shield!
Haha! When I beat the big bosses such as Lord of The Dead, Golden Dragon, Ancient Dragon, the shadow bosses etc.. I usually have two other people in my party so I just use them to distract the enemy while I attack them from behind. It works quite well actually!

Couldn't beat it as a demi-creator paladin. Through that point in the game I was just skipping around, looking for magic ore. I took one step into the gigante room, stabbed it, it one-shot me with lightning and I just went *nOpE*

Omg I remember hearing that music, I was up in that floating islands area (Terra Nimbus) & I was fighting those Mantis things, I heard that music & outta nowhere this huge Chimera attacked me & I almost got killed by that thing. Now I'm trying to raise my levels up high so I can tear that beast apart.. >:)

I remember I was around level 15 playing this game blind. I was in the desert when I ran across.. that giant dark dinosaur. I freaked OUT when this song started and made sure to get the hell out of there. Compared to the other two battle songs, this one is VERY intense. It feels like you're fighting a god.. Or fishing one.. Or... cutting one down. Whatever?

Chris Jones Well, I guess they tried their hardest to keep fighting out of the main story line. Like, the only real things that showed up were Doomstone fights. (Most of the others were skippable, or you had allies.) Still, they could have done something more for the combat classes and made that an option too at the end.
Shadow fucking bigbeak. I only had a level 4 bow skill, so I had to use a gold claymore for that fight. I was hitting low 30s to high 40s the whole fight. The only attack I could use without getting wrecked was the forward A attack. was level 56. I used over 90 superior hp potions. All so I could get legend rank. Oh, and the king gave me a bow that was weaker than the bow of destiny, which I already had. I couldn't use it, but it still pissed me off. EDIT: Forgot to mention that I didn't bring an ally because I'm stupid and prideful and honourable like that.
actually i'm playing it 2024. i heared it yesterday the first time. not allways playing with music... when i than fighting one of the bosses of the ancient ruins it was so intense with this soundtrack. and so rewarding to finally beat them, after i had ran from them over and over again.
So im just minding my own business in the al majick desert, im use to the weaker boss type music, never heard the godly boss music right? All of a sudden i stumble across the lord of the dead or some shit, and im like OH FUCK ITS A DINOSAUR! The epic music starts to play and im like, wait wtf is this music, then bam this sucker hits me for a quarter of my life, and im like OH FUUUUUUUUUCK! So im thinking this sucker is like the strongest thing in the game right? i end up kicking its ass and shit...then as i progress through the game i find more and more stronger monsters with that same god music...and everytime the music plays i know.... shits about to go down.
My first time hearing this song was my first time in Tortuga Archipelago. As an angler I got lucky and the first thing I found in the whirlpool was the gold swordfish, which I attempted to catch to no avail.
I played through the entire game as a paladin, many people probably don't know some of the endgame bosses you fight. There's many of them and this music plays on a few. It feels epic fighting with this theme, you are unstoppable force battling an immovable object.
Haaaaaaa this reminds me of my fight with the Golden Dragon last night I was around errr level 38? All i can say is WHOO that was a tough win! But I loved the music XD

i wasn't interested in this game at first but something made me buy it. a sort of strange feeling in my gut that made me think it would be a good buy. and then i ended up liking it. just goes to show that you can't judge a game by it's cover. there is no game i own that i don't like (well except for sticker star :P)

When you approach the Celestial Tree after realising that it's the only way to get that dumb leaf for a Blacksmith challenge, hearing this, dealing 0 damage and then having to get to Hero in Woodcutter, at which point it's a miracle if you remember what you were doing in the first place ;D

Nah, but they should have made a higher difficulty for the crafting part besides 'hard', and played yet another music on top of that.
There's a stone in Ancient Ruins with this music, a tree in West Terra Nimbus, and plenty of enemies, stones, and trees in Origin Island.

Really i find the merc class crap to use.
I tend to stick with Paladin. The ultimate ability means you take 0 damage, which really helps.

From what I remember correctly, after doing a fairly long level raising session I went and confronted the Chimera again, I actually got it down to half health, but during the whole battle I kept having to spam consume my health items and revival stuff and eventually ran out of them.. ; w ; So considering the fact that I had to literally devour my health items my level was still obviously too low. ^^;
This is so sad.

this song started to play all randomly in the desert. i tried to figure out why and then BOOM a dark death lord had entered the oasis and was trying to breath me to death xD
I remember I was around level 15 playing this game blind. I was in the desert when I ran across.. that giant dark dinosaur. I freaked OUT when this song started and made sure to get the hell out of there.
Compared to the other two battle songs, this one is VERY intense. It feels like you're fighting a god..

Well, I guess they tried their hardest to keep fighting out of the main story line. Like, the only real things that showed up were Doomstone fights. (Most of the others were skippable, or you had allies.) Still, they could have done something more for the combat classes and made that an option too at the end.

Shadow fucking bigbeak. I only had a level 4 bow skill, so I had to use a gold claymore for that fight. I was hitting low 30s to high 40s the whole fight. The only attack I could use without getting wrecked was the forward A attack. was level 56. I used over 90 superior hp potions. All so I could get legend rank. Oh, and the king gave me a bow that was weaker than the bow of destiny, which I already had. I couldn't use it, but it still pissed me off.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I didn't bring an ally because I'm stupid and prideful and honourable like that.

actually i'm playing it 2024. i heared it yesterday the first time. not allways playing with music...
when i than fighting one of the bosses of the ancient ruins it was so intense with this soundtrack. and so rewarding to finally beat them, after i had ran from them over and over again.

So im just minding my own business in the al majick desert, im use to the weaker boss type music, never heard the godly boss music right? All of a sudden i stumble across the lord of the dead or some shit, and im like OH FUCK ITS A DINOSAUR! The epic music starts to play and im like, wait wtf is this music, then bam this sucker hits me for a quarter of my life, and im like OH FUUUUUUUUUCK! So im thinking this sucker is like the strongest thing in the game right? i end up kicking its ass and shit...then as i progress through the game i find more and more stronger monsters with that same god music...and everytime the music plays i know.... shits about to go down.
My first time hearing this song was my first time in Tortuga Archipelago. As an angler I got lucky and the first thing I found in the whirlpool was the gold swordfish, which I attempted to catch to no avail.
Shizuku Mizuchi Unlucky. I first caught it as an Adept Angler.

I played through the entire game as a paladin, many people probably don't know some of the endgame bosses you fight. There's many of them and this music plays on a few. It feels epic fighting with this theme, you are unstoppable force battling an immovable object.
