great show with only me and 1500 other people! simon and co had backing tracks including vocals but he was creaking out the lines in and in key regardless. the only tiger track played, and this track was a show stopper.
And it was actually going to be included but they removed it to include other covers. But this version is beautiful, I don't understand why they removed this version for the album. Listening to it live it sounds incredible
@@kevins7944it even has this possibility as an extra track on Danse Macabre. Because, like Danse Macabre's album, it was released on Simon's birthday. This could be worth as an extra track, who knows. I don't know if there would be another track from Danse Macabre as a track, the only track I remembered from New Moon on Monday, there's also Shadows on Your Side.
The song is rearranged because as you can see Simon can't hit those high notes like he used to and why it's rarely played live anymore. They did a fantastic job
Simon still has it 45 years later. And of course the band is outstanding as usaul.
