Present Continuous Tense (Present Progressive). Detailed explanation with examples.

The present continuous (also called present progressive) is a verb tense which is used to show that an ongoing action is happening now, either at the moment of speech or now in a larger sense. The present continuous can also be used to show that an action is going to take place in the near future. Let’s learn the detailed descriptions with examples, and do exercises. Present Progressive Test (Key)
1. What is happening in the videos? Choose from these verbs: cross, take, hide.
a) She is taking a picture of her cake.
b) They are crossing the street.
c) The mom is hiding behind the bush.
2. Write questions. Use the present continuous.
a) What’s the matter? Why are you crying? (why / you / cry?)
b) I haven’t seen you for ages. What are you doing these days? (what / you / do / these days?)
c) Where’s your father? Is he working today? (he / work / today?)
3. Put the verb into the correct form based on the meaning of the sentence, positive (I am doing) or negative (I am not doing).
a) Jane started these classes recently. She is learning (She / learn) Spanish.
b) My aunt and uncle have had an argument now. They are not speaking (they / speak) to one another.
c) The dishwasher has been repaired. It is working (It / work) now.
d) Mike is a student, but he is not very happy. He is not enjoying (He / enjoy) his course.

Нравиться. Хочу видеть ещё подобные уроки. А возможно по чаще? 😙👌👍💖......и еще постоянно путаю - tere - и - there. ...это или там звучит или понимается почти одинаково....я очень путаюсь часто. Что делать? Посоветуйте!

Я рада, что вам понравился урок. Вы имеете ввиду their, there и they're? Эти слова действительно звучат одинаково. Нужно понимать значение исходя из смысла предложения. Кстати, хорошая тема для нового урока.
