Brother I happen to agree with you as far as the factory sound from the exhaust... Ive seen so many of these on youtube modded with all kinds of exhausts and while most are Louder, none have sounded Better or as musical and refined as the original...the designers spent Alot of time engineering that system and it shows...stunning sound bone stock.

I’ve got a regular mid/rear delete challenger Cat & c8, definitely looking to upgrade the c8 to the z06 once I can find a good deal. That exhaust is best I’ve heard in person!

Just so you know these cars including the 911 gt3 are low torque high horsepower car. Meaning if you’re in the wrong gear at the wrong speed, a manual stinks. I had 2 GT3s that were manuals and I’d get beat by not paying attention. The last gt3 I had was DCT. That solved that issue permanently. It’s a perfect transmission for this type motor. Race cars don’t have manual transmissions they have sequential transmissions. This car is the same. And what I drive now
Transmissions are solid, the stradman had the only one with an issue, all manufacturers have the same issues. The main issue I would say about mine is the paint is not the greatest a lot of orange peel
I’m at 451 miles on C8 Z06 , no problems too , I’m not crazy about the wheels ( I also do t have the Carbon Fiber Wheels I just got ACS front splash guards , I would NOT put on wheel spacers , NOT. A good idea imo , , I’m changing my oil right after 500 Miles
You should have driven the car hard right from the start and allow the piston rings to seat on to the cylinders! I've done that to all my cars and they never burned any oil and had full power!!!
I'm considering trading my 23 C8 Z51 for a 24 Z06. Your video helps a bunch...I couldn't tell from your video but have the protected the radiator w/o having to add aftermarket grill guards? How would you specifically compare your 23 C8 Z51 to the 24 Z06...any regrets whatsoever?
Forsure. It only competes with Supercars twice its price or more on road tracks… stock 2.5 second 0-60, 10 second 1/4 car on street tires naturally aspirated. What were they thinking 💀

Right? They even purposefully designed the tips to reflect exhaust sound to the cabin to hear it well while driving. Work of art.

I have heard some Z06 have had transmission issues. You didn't mention so I guess you were fortunate.

I’m not into spacers on a high performance car either. Just adding a potential point of failure. Plus you have to cut the OEM studs on the z06

I have one exaclty the same but yellow calipers ande seat belts. I couldnt agree with you more on the offset of the rear wheels.

I’ll look past the Sox plate 😂 where you at in IL? I moved to FL in 2017 from Burbank but was born in Chicago.
It’s the only black plate in IL man I had no other choice 😂

How do you feel about modifying the cold air intake? Not to Eventuri, but JLT or aFe so I don’t cut up the trunk carpet , etc. Is it good for 15hp?
Personally, I wouldn’t pay $700+ for 15 hp. If I see 1/4 mile testing proving mph gain then maybe but I haven’t looked too far into it

Yes. Chevy tuned the valves in each exhaust mode to be progressively more open at different throttle positions. Track is the loudest mode.

I said they could’ve adjusted the offset (or backspacing) of the rear wheels so they’re flush like the front wheels. What about that is incorrect?
