    In Houdini 18 this is basically the best way to copy to pints randomize with piece attribute option.
    A cool thing you can do in attribute randomization node that you can control how much of one attribute value you want. Hasn't seen this one in other videos!

    Thanks for this, works really well. Was just wounding though if I had 18 different bits of geo and 18 points for them to be copied to, what changes would I need to make. I have made sure there are 18 points, 18 bit of geo with the 1-18 attributes named and have "specific values" created from 1-18, but there are a few copies of the same geo, rather than all 18 points having a unique bit of geo. Thanks.

      In houdini 18 theres been intruduced new attrib adjusts nodes. Right now its go to way to randomize stuff quickly. Even has weighting options. Sounds like you have a multiple same point attribute values, because if you are copying by matching prim geo attrib with a point attrib ure copying it will not copy it if it doesn't match.
