Love’s such an oldfashioned word
This is really Depressive Nihlistic, because Love means Passion(at least in english). Romance is only one aspect of Love. If you don't love romance, at least Love the Game(sports, work, really anything with friction). Saying Love is Cringe makes you seem like a try hard.
Love causes more brain rot than any Tiktok playlist ever could. I recently found an old unsent (thank god) love letter of mine meant for a girl I had a crush on back in high school and I really felt lile jumping out of my 3rd floor apartment window while reading it. It was less of a confession of love and more of a confession about stalking her by picking my commute schedule and classes to match with hers and analyzing all aspects of her I had seen at school starting from clothes and accessories to her body language in class. My attempts at humour were way below my current standards and I somehow made it close to 2 pages long with a long list of grammar errors.
Writing all of it down did allow me to process my feelings a bit better and approach her in more casual manner, but I still get shivers whenever I think how things could have gone wrong if I actually sent it to her.
In the end I never managed to come out of my shell and ask her out, but I kinda lost some interest anyway when I found out about her hobby of photographing and posting dead squirrels online, most of which had been mushed by cars.
