I so much appreciate how Samsung bring out musicians and not popstars and shit. Its such a small gesture but it kind of makes me superduper happy inside.
This year’s iteration of Over the Horizon, it’s produced by someone named Suga… So, yeah it’s produced by a KPOPstar and shit. This should make you sad. We’re not even sure if this is really produced/mixed by that Suga. LOL.
@@EFU-ut1hy Though SUGA is categorised as a K-Pop star, he is most definitely a producer and a musician. He certainly doesn't have Jacob's musicality (who truly does?) but he's more than just a K-Pop star, he's certainly not "shit" and he definitely produced that version of the song. To those who listen to his music, it's evident as his own personal touches and personality are apart of it (as it is with Jacob and this version).
Now, while I prefer this version and the 2011 version of "Over The Horizon" (which is my favourite), I personally don't think SUGA's is all that bad, but to each, their own. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
The dude won 4 grammy’s, I think he’s a celebrity of sorts. Also, the kpop community is the most insufferable thing I’ve come across, but that’s not to say the artists in question are insufferable as the fandom make them look

bro, i was since always so obsessed with this ringtone and how jacob could play so many instruments and also sound good! Then i did some research, i wanted to know more about jacob and i wanted to be like him. Years passed and now i’m studying music theory, learned how to play piano and developed a relative pitch. I love negative harmony, key changes and frequency changes. Thank you Samsung and thank you Jacob🔥🔥

really nostalgic going back thru all Colliers old stuff as an adult man..
I made sure when I upgraded to a new phone that I grabbed this ringtone and added it to my music library. COMPLETE bop.
We can all agree that this is the best one. I love waking up to this when i had my old Samsung now I changed brand and still use this as my ringtone. Haha. It's not irritating but it definitely wakes me up. Its as if all my senses were programmed to wake up when this playssss. 💯

I had a client in my office the other day. His phone went off and this played and I was about 98% sure it was Jacob Collier.
