Jerry Murad was the first autograph I got on my banjo head when I was touring. We played a show in Canada back in the seventies and the Harmonicats were on the bill. What a great guy. We sat behind the stage in the dressingroom between shows and jammed OBS. He knew I played the song on the five string banjo, so he wanted me to see if he played it right on the harp. Son, did he nail it. Great memories.

It is hard to believe that just three harmonica players can make so much of an attracitve and pleasant music, it is unbelieable, fantastic and much more than just this.

I saw them in person at a boat show in Dallas, TX, in the late 1950's. I was probably 10 years old and had been playing a harp for four years and really became inspired by their fantastic demonstration. I weaned myself from 'Home on the Range" and the like that day. What a blessing they were for a guy like me.

translation: It seems incredible that only three musicians can make a music of both volume and quality, I never tire of listening to them, are fantastic, shame that the new generations do not know how to appreciate both art!

The passing of JR Mass is something that can make anyone sad, he was part of a great trio playing such incredible music. He is gone, but his class will be around for as long as the sun shines, I can guarantee you that.

I am very lucky to have the chord player here, Joe Mass, and my chord instructor for the past 3 years. He is one of the coolest guys you'll ever see and one of the most funny people to be around. Thank very much Joe, With your help hopefully I will make this song a hit at FFA state convention this year.

¡ Que bestias! en el buen sentido ¿eh? ¿como pueden hacer tan gran musica con instrumentos tan sencillos? vamos que, son increiblemente fantasticos y merecen estar en el podio de los grandes.

The rhythm section is the Mass brothers, Joe Jr. on chord and JR on bass. Two of the best in the business. To emulate Al Fiore and Don Les are big shoes to fill as they are the premier masters of their instruments and Joe and JR did a fantastic job.
