Deck is a lyrical tank, and a humble man.
True Indeed!
Spot on description đđœđđœđđœ
LYRICAL TANK = excellent phrase.
Best song starter in Hip Hop.
Well said
I will never forget hearing âI bomb atomically, Socrates philosophies and hypothesis..â for the first time. My mind was blown. And the whole Wu killed it, but Deckâs verse is just an amazing stand out.
Facts! I listened to that jawn back to back trying to overstand it
You want your best soldiers upfront. Making him go first was genius
Masterpiece! Every member murdered their verse!
That shit made me step my pen game up. Him big pun that vocabulary made me open a dictionary for ammo
That made em all work harder
Inspectah Deck Lyrical One of the Greatest MCs who kills it on any Hip Hop track
Murders a verse and sends for the hearse.
@@UPROXXVideo Wuuuuuu! đ
GZA taught Deck rhyme structure. Those two are as sharp as it gets. Everybody should peep GZA featuring Inspectah Deck 'Sparring Minds'.
Deck doesn't rhyme like gza he uses multi syllable rhyme schemes gza doesn't
@@dassolosyndikat5113 Yeah he of course crafted his own style, but I do believe I remember him saying GZA was the one who taught him how to structure rhymes
@@LivewyreTheCyborg Yeah man, I remember back in the day GZA had a really thorough interview where he even went into detail about his battle with Jay-Z. Wish I could find it, but no such luck.

@@dassolosyndikat5113 I've made that comparison too. In the 90s he was just as good as Nas or Jay if not better. Specifically between 95-97. Don't get me wrong he was a beast in 93 as well.
Yeah he and GZAđ„đ„đ„đđ. I don't understand but I do. They are too overwhelming. People rather hear rappers that all sound the same.

The intro into âTriumphâ gotta be a one of the most legendary first verses in hip hop history! Hands down! Inspectah Deck killed it! Absolute classic!
One of the best opening verses
Possibly the greatest Rap Verse of all time. An immaculate conception.

I remember in some long lost magazine interview they talked about the reaction in the room when Deck started recording his verse to Play IV Keeps on Tical 2000 as he ripped off, "I move like Mad Max across the wasteland, one hand holds the head of the last brave man / Made man, Cuban Link chain of command... DECK STAY UNDERRATED!!!!!!!! He is an incredible emcee
One of, if not the most underrated MC in the game. Deckâs pen game is insane and got flows for days. He unfortunately caught a raw deal with that flood in RZAâs basement which destroyed all the beats to his first solo album. Smh.
Hopefully, he still got those rhymes. Because, if that's the case, then he should spit those rhymes to some of RZA's best unreleased beats. There's still hope.....

Totally agree. I love how Talib refers to Deck's verse on Triumph as a Masterclass on Lyricism. I actually think of another song Deck is on as well, Czarface's "Forever People", as a masterclass in lyricism. Inspectah Deck is criminally underrated, his pen game is exemplary.
