That would be incredible
We need to spam their emails with requests
This is already one of my favorite episodes
Here for Gregg 🎉
Now we need a Sam and Marc episode
Excellent show! Let's Go! How about a show about NFL punters and their importance?
“A little uncomfortable” with the Bills WR situation 😂 Pretty sure Allen isn’t as measured in his texts to McDermott this off-season
Good podcast Steve. Who was that other guy who shared the podcast with you? Oh yeah Sam something.
Elite show with good topics and not just will Dak resign
the one thing not mentioned at nosioum is how some positions just will not be lengthy careers.
CBs will not be great for 10 yrs, DEs can have 12+ seasons at high levels. OLs typically have the most value imo bc how many seasons they can play at pro bowl levels
Shout out north reading, ma
It's my favorite trivia question. The 2005 49ers had one bright spot in their week 1 victory over the Rams, but Alex Smith didn't start that game. Who did?
Triple G

Steve's switch about Will Anderson is funny. He definitely didn't like the trade for him at the time. He sort of hedges about it here.
They talked about Will Levis and Philip Rivers more than Harbaugh and Herbert. That’s definitely a choice.
How did Mike McCarthy get promoted after that season? I'm a 49ers fan since end of the 80's. Still, the Chip Kelly 2016 2-14 team is my worst SF season.
As a Chargers fan, I was a little jelly LV got Bowers. Still, it was great watching fans cry about it "WHADAYA DOING!!???" LOL
The Texans’ playoff win against Connor Cook was definitely not their first playoff win. They beat the Bengals in 2011 and 2012 - and Clowney wasn’t on either of those teams.
Saying it's not very different than the Daniel Jones contract isn't justification for doing it. That was widely considered to be stupid at the time and has shown to be...stupid.
I think the thing that you fail to take into account with the, "knowing someone is good" situation, is probably that front offices aren't going to trade up for someone they don't have a ton of confidence in being good. It's more a reflection of front offices over estimating their talent evaluation.
@20:11 "I have a working value on teams over-valuing fit." (Steve)
That's basically just Ozzie Newsome's favourite phrase, "pick the best player available". Drafting for need, whether you call it 'position' or 'fit', is the classic mistake. That's how you get Jalen Reagor instead of Justin Jefferson.
It's not a new idea.
NFL Network's Gregg Rosenthal??
steve by himself is so much better than steve with sam, or anyone with sam
greg is real cool too
Bengals went into buffalo in the snow and all those bills passrushers didn't do shit
Oh Greggory the Bills are cooked they win 9/10 games but they aren’t fucking with Burrow/Mahomes in the playoffs if they make it
This show goes off the rails at least once a month telling the Myth/ Lie of Manziel and Jerry Jones. Fact is Manziel wasn't even on the cowboys board
Jerry isn't in charge of the board
@@CommunityNotesVerified exactly right
Once a month? PFF lives off the rails.
Gregg is just a little guy
“It’s a bridge contract kinda like daniel jones a year ago” which was a terrible contract.. by cutting him after 2 years they incur 20+ m in dead cap. Completely cannibalises rookie contract window. Not a fan of process unless they trust that penix is a future great.
