Good to know, you are rare, so Tell it to your people what is Africa, Respect us, black and learn about us cause we have enough of your ignorance & arrogance of westerners.Tourism is not a future for us if you foreigners dont change massively your state of mind. Valid for you & the rest of your nation. Yes we have the most wonderful continent, some of us knows it, but all of you want it, we have to protect it from tourism & foreign settlement.

Same, I personally prefer African music sang in native language because it sounds more authentic and it makes me feel happy even though I may not understand what’s been said but I always research the English lyrics to get more in depth.
I find that a lot of African artists try to be someone they’re not and I cringe when they use a fake American or English accent even though they weren’t raised in those countries. As someone who was raised in England from the age of 6 and now 20, I love feeling connected to Africa through African music.

People don’t really give Yemi Alade the credits that she deserves. Girl you did that. Best videos of 2020.👸 I Will love to see people of color (black) give more attention to Yemi, because this girl is our pride. #YemiAlade #womenofsteel

    I discovered your music today.
    Wonderful!!!!
    True Afrikaans music.
I'm a 70 year old white woman. Never left the USA, but found music from African areas.
I wish it would be part of the popular music in the USA as well as africa.
I will be searching for your music.
    Much respect for your artistry.

Pat Brown Afrikaans are people associated with the European *Dutch settlers* in regions like South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe and other regions. Afrikaans is a dialect of Holland that was brought to Africa . This is true *African* music. But your admiration is very much appreciated ❤️
