Dads are always super nervous about their babies.

He bit my cameraman on the butt when he moved to fast. I sat there for 10 minutes and talked to them while the babies nibbled on my shirt lol.

I recommend Canadian geese EGGS. This prevents them from hatchinng and turning grass fields and walk ways into toilets of big turds. NO other bird do I have such distain for.

I'm not sure how our zoo, which has always welcomed wildlife, would feel but I'll pass it on!

@@Lilladydark Understanding the ups and down side of a zoo, I appreciate their role. I find no shortage or need of their help for those geese nor mice nor rabbits. Eggs are not wildlife until they hatch.

interfering with their eggs or nests is a crime. You are advising people to commit crime.

They are however protected, and in my opinion, a place meant for animals should allow nature a longer leash. I understand your view, but these animals also have a place; if you would champion animal well-being then I would expect as much value to be placed on the annoying wildlife as any other. The purpose of the zoo is not only to entertain but to foster bonds between animals and humans. Geese may be unpleasant to many humans, as are mice... But they are protected, and they have their place in nature. These relationships between the wild and human spaces are a prime example of nature's adaptability. The annoyance is surely balanced, in this space, but the lessons to be learned on coexistence and value in life that is not necessarily apparent as beneficial to humans.

@@cleigh3796 The law should be changed for these gooses. Our state requires a permit to hunt them, with a limit of one. That too should be changed.

There's a pond about 100 feet from where we were sitting, they nest along it throughout the zoo. They are however wild creatures that visit and make use of the closeness to humans for safety and better food. Most of its just baby fluff, but I'm not volunteering to groom them!
