- With it being only 10 more days until the end of this season, I wanted to make a video covering how I felt about the season and telling how I think Fortnite could improve on things because god does Epic need that right now.

After the rescue Peely loading screen I was like oh ok some story is passive and goes with the gameplay and won't be live events. It set my expectations since the reset big bang
I personally found the season pretty boring I think if the focus more so on their story and map instead of collabs 24/7 I think Fortnite would be more enjoyable again

well thats the thing, theres no such thing as legendary anymore and theyll still sell skins for 2000
My season rating would go like:
Gameplay - 8/10 (star wars was disappointing and the avatar event could’ve been handled better but amazing overall)
Battlepass - 7/10 (main battlepass was incredible, Korra is great, but extra stuff has been kinda lame)
Story - 8/10 (Could’ve done with some expandint but it’s Fortnite, I don’t expect much)
Nearly everything else - 2/10 (just a ton of other changes that happened in this season pulls it down mostly)
Gameplay 8/10 I agree
Battle pass 4/10 bad skins kora saved it from being a 2
Story 6/10 kinda mid
Avatar update ruined the season, first month or so was good with Midas and the LTM. It was mad fun. Avatar removed the whole seasons character without reasoning, they are incredibly broken especially in zero build. None of the friends are online anymore because of this. When they added the Greek mythics back the game was fun again

Honestly don’t get the bad skins thing though, this is the first battle pass in ages where I’ve loved all the skins, or at least a variant of them.

Ngl this season was just filled with over-negativity and over reacting to certain things imo, like they saying that oh “Fortnite is loosing its identity” and “oh Fortnite is falling” or “Fortnite is over” and a bunch of other stuff yet in br these are some of the most updates we had in a season for a while.
We had a good setup for the start of the season, then the midas return event ( tho it should’ve lasted longer ), then the avatar event ( which I would agree lasted too long tho ), and finally the star wars event.
And then the thing about the season themed weapons disappearing during the avatar event is that a majority of the community only complained about and hated those items saying they were killing the game or too broken ( which they definitely weren’t ) but all of a sudden when it’s taken out the community cares all of a sudden.

I would say this is a 6 out of ten season. The avatar Collab and the unbalanced medallions made season from an 8/10 to a 6/10. If they kept the Midas stuff for longer and did more small updates like last season (adding flowberry fiz, ninja turtles, map change) last season was like an 8 it was pretty fun but not goated like chapter 2 season 2 or mst of chapter 1.
I don't like that I had to play other types of games to unlock rewards, I wanted to play battle Royal, but had to play music and lego to follow the Star Wars stuff. If I wanted those platforms I'd download them feom Epic. I got Fortnite to play Fortnite.

Isnt there a way to get epic to bring back rarities? Like literally nobody aside from a few who wanted favor from epic actually supported this change. It makes finding skins so annoying and of course, the UI in general is garbage

While I really did enjoy the theme of this season. I'd be lying to myself if I said it was perfect. One of the biggest nitpicks I have with this season was the lack of original greek mythology skins. Despite how many were present in the skin surveys, we only got a small handful in the item shop. This, to me, is an example of an overarching problem with epic. That problem being that they can't stick to a season theme and run with it. This was a problem that was evident throughout last season. Even going as far back to some parts of chapter four. While I do love Avatar as a show and a franchise. It doesn't fit the Greek ecstatic of this season. This is a problem that has me already worried for season 3. This problem can also be boiled down to another issue with current collabs in that they lack context. Oh, excuse me, narrative context, What I mean by this is that there's no back story behind why these characters are even here. One of the important things Donald did through his writing was introducing narrative context for why said franchise and it's character's are present on the island. Examples of this are Rick Sanchez helping the IO and Dr. Slone to create a plan to defeat the aliens in C2S7. The IO sending Jones to different realities to collect various hunters, which consisted of franchises such as ( Halo, Street Fighter, The Mandalorian, Predator, and God Of War) to help stop Loopers from escaping the island. The point is their was context. In this season, I couldn't give you a single explanation as to why the Avatar crew was even here, not even if you paid me to. Were they supposed to help us fight Zues or hinder his plans, I'm not even sure because the game doesn't even tell you. Really good informative video on your perspective. Continue to keep up and stay strong with your content.

7:49 I have to disagree with you on your point here. I you actually compile all of the numbers of all the creative map plays along with the other game modes it adds up to about half of the playerbase to half is playing creative and half are playing battle royale so to say that no one is playing creative or other modes is kinda a strange thing to say when you can see thousands of people playing said modes you're referring to. Lego get's around 60k consistently Festival around 30k to 40k and usually when new jam tracks come out on Thursdays it can even shoot up to 70k players rocket racing gets around 10k but that's still alot of players compared to most creative maps and usually crative gets around 11k to 500 people

That over a 100,000 players so to say no one cares or no one is playing these other modes is just wrong.
And saying they just play to only warm up for battle Royale is such a subjective statement you can't really prove that's the case for all those playes you're just assuming so.
That is very true but what I mean't was that about 50% of all creative maps are PvP so they could be considered as practice for battle royale. and the other 50% is why they dont even need these game modes because the community was already doing so well with creative. I do think its 50 battle royale and 50 craetive for importance to the game

The Avatar part of the season was really fun for me! Me and my friends are huge fans of ATLA so I just made it extra fun.

@@bagek tbh from the start of this season no one that plays any sort of competitive will tell you it was very negatively received with even the new shotgun still being contraversial as to whether or not people like it with no many map changes, the nerfing of 3 medallions on the map and them making 1 overpowered one along with like 0 metachange other than the shotgun it's been a pretty bellow average season in terms of the last few seasons
The new shotgun is the most balaced and broken gun in the game its like the ultimate combination btw pump and auto without being spamy and still dealing major with good range too not like the godfotesaken frenzy and its only broken if you work for it or get super lucky (side note)fuk the frenzy thankgod it got nerfed @@goatuy7742

This season has been the best Fortnite has been (I love Festival, Lego Mode and Rocket reaching are okay).
But on the other hand BR and the map are boring, Fortnite has lost its cartoony identity and the game is fun but for me personally isn’t replay able as much as Chapter 1/3.

This is The Worst Season 2 of Any Chapter. It was hyped up to be as good as the other Season 2's, but it failed imo.
- The Waterbending Mythic overshadowed ANYTHING Star Wars related. It's way too good; no recoil, projectile is bigger than bullets, quick reload. Screw Korra.
- Lego got all the attention for Star Wars while it was being hyped up for a month. We get ONE LIGHTSABER... ONE!
- Avatar update overshadowed the Greek Mythics and made the Meta either Water or Air. Run away with Air 🌬️ and then kill someone with 4 shots of Water 🌊 🌊 🌊 🌊
- The Cerberus Medallion is a MUST and puts the other Medallions to Shame in comparison. 🐺
- The Battle Pass was Mid and could have been taken care of better (Aphrodite, Ceberus, Zeus is forgettable).
- The Green Ooze made games difficult and Felt like Tracer (Overwatch) was part of the Fortnite Meta. So much fun.
- And the longest downtime we ever had before a season started; excluding the Black Hole event. Took a day off and regretted it because I couldn't play till late at night.
- The Greek theme was Heavily Overshadowed by Avatar's presence with the Vaulting.
I'm hoping and praying the next season fixes the game; but I highly doubt it at this rate. Lego gets way too much love. Screw Lego.

-Midas event was ONLY squads and was very underwhelming. Not everyone gets in groups when they play Fortnite. And then Midas just leaves; taking the Boat that was actually a pretty cool drop spot. The story was weak.... Very weak.
- I never complained about Waterbending being too weak in the first place. They had it right previously before the ridiculous buff.
- Wings are visually cool, but it is so easy to die with them or vice versa. Just facts.
- Lego should not be getting the best updates in comparison to The Mode that Made Fortnite Popular. Lego does not compare to Battle Royale's influence on the community; yet Epic feels like it's Best to just focus on Lego for the Star Wars update. Ch.4 S2 had it best; we had different powers and multiple lightsabers and a mini event with Order 66 and the Spaceship in the Sky. This season was a joke.
- Cerberus is the best skin in the Battle Pass imo. But he could have been a lot cooler. His shoulder pads just clip often with his snout when he does emotes and he's not as expressive as he could have been. The Survey Skins showed us better. He feels rushed.
I'm not a toxic guy. I am someone who sees something wrong and will speak the truth. I'm not gonna nod my head and just accept how lazy Epic has become with Battle Royale. It's very concerning where this game is heading.

first off your girlfriend is a decent cook. second this season honeslty didn’t do it for me. i thought the only good portion was the first 2 weeks. the wings and lighting were cool then h they ruined it by adding the avatar items that just never left and are somehow better than every ar in the game and the weapons also suck ass
