I agree that white and cream can live together in harmony when combined thoughtfully.
Beautiful layout! I've used foil on a couple of my punches. It works pretty good. Also clears them up when they get squeaky. TFS. Amanda 😘
I use aluminum foil to sharpen all the time and after I will often use some waxed paper.
Love the use of the heart punch, my latest fave layout.

So cute! Yes using aluminum foil works to sharpen edges. Fold a few lagers and punch through. Also sharpens guillotine trimmers too.
and for scissors too!
Although I love your mixed media layouts, I appreciate some without it too. As someone with limited mixed media supplies (just got a little for Christmas) I like seeing both types of layouts.

Aluminum foil sandwiched with a sheet of wax paper inside. helps to sharpen the punch as well as add a little lubrication. I've had punches get stuck on me before. Just pop them in the freezer for a bit and they should release the paper easily.

Fold the aluminum foil over itself a couple times and go for it. It doesn't make the punch like new, but it will be sharper.

I feel like you have said it in another video, but where did you get that heart punch? This is one of my favorite layouts you have made. I think it would be prefect for a Valentine’s Day layout!
It's just a really cheap one from Lincraft which is an Aussie store. Most craft stores should have some sort of small heart punch hiding somewhere on their shelves ☺️
Love the background! Such a cute page (as always!) could you mention your labeling of roller stamps in a future video, I see the numbers but I’m curious as to how that helps you. Oh and hi Archie!
I filmed a video a couple of years ago showing how I store them and use the number system ☺️ if you search "Inkie roller stamps" it should pop up. It's so handy to store them this way! ☺️

I filmed a video a couple of years ago showing how I store my roller stamps ☺️ I use the numbers to record the sentiments on a seperate paper so I know where to find certain sentiments. If you search "Inkie roller stamps" it should show up.

Love what you've done with this layout, particularly how you made the heart of hearts then used that for your journaling, such a 'different' layout but it looks fab.
Like you I don't agree with pink for girls and blue for boys. I use what I like - they're my albums :)
I have used aluminium foil (we tend to call it kitchen foil in the UK) for sharpening punches, but I found it didn't make a difference for very long... next time I folded the foil so it was a few layers thick and punched to sharpen and it worked much better.

I thought you'd like the ABC of the UK book as I remember you showing the ABC book you'd bought through Kickstarter (rappers I think?) and I remembered you saying in a vlog that you watched Saccone-Joly's so that's why I decided to get Jonathon's book for Archie. Hope you'll both have lots of snuggly time with the books and so glad you like them 💖
