what the heck! why am i unable to arm mutiple tracks in ableton! (edit: I thought it was shift click but its ctrl click arm) this shit is goated! absolutely insane setup for quick brainstorming what instrument parts to implement into a song

If you make a pattern with step sequencer ..You can assign different roots in real time like Keystep Pro ...from keys?

You can change the pattern notes in real time in the step sequencer. You can also adjust those "scales" in scales modes highlighted pads.

Hy great ! Are the 64 sessions like scenes presets on for example roland Fantom ? The question is can we have 64 presets that contains vst per track, with patterns and songs, all on the MK3 ? So are the 64 sessions multi synth presets...like on kontakt multis ? Thanks.

So, I've only recently picked up hardware synthesizers to be able to expand on the all of the features of the SL MKIII. ( A ton more how to videos coming soon on the SL MKIII to my channel)
From my understanding, so far, the sessions can save templates, sequences, midi mapping, basically everything on the board as far as you set it up, etc.
I mainly compose all my music into Ableton.
It doesn't have any on board sound, just midi controlling information.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you're asking if you can build an entire song via sessions like you would in the Fantom (workstation style)
Having for example session 1 be the (Intro)
      Session 2 (verse/rhythm) session 3 (hook/chorus) session 4 (Bridge) Session 5 (outro)
Then swapping session to session creating a full legnth song?
Just wanting to make sure I'm understanding the question to better help.
      Thanks!

@@GammaLensMedia Thanks. Just wanted to know if i can use session as presets. So , as you say, that's possible. One session remembers all settings. With patterns, vst presets etc... Thanks a lot !

Hi, does it work with mainstage?

    • @GammaLensMedia

Thanks for the question. Unfortunately I'm not too familiar with Mainstage. I looked through the incontrol daw information on their website link below.
The sequencer and all the other features are built into the board.
Unfortunately I don't see in control mode
      Feature for main stage.

@@GammaLensMedia yea I set everything in ableton to correct channels then on keyboard and zones I have them routed all properly in the shift-sessions.. but still my sustain pedal will only work on zone 1, channel 1 instruments..

Sorry mate but after 8 minutes I couldn't listen any more. You might know your stuff (and I dare say you do) but you can't teach it I'm afraid. I was lost and wondering what it was you were trying to say, or if it were actually relevant.
Perhaps you might try writing a script and thinking through what you want to say more carefully. I'm sure there are quite a few resources on how to teach something. I just get the feeling that you thought this would be a good thing to teach on (and it is) and just started saying what was in your head. Unfortunately it was quite jumbled and that's why I think you ought to learn how to train because all of that great knowledge you have is wasted at the moment.
Sorry for being negative but it needed saying.
