- The law society of Kenya has declined to be part of the presidential taskforce on forensic audit of public debt stating that the mandate to audit public debt rests with the office of the auditor-general.
Thank you for keeping off corrupt institutions. Keep them accountable. The auditor should do their job. LSK theirs.
By mandating LSK to be part of the forensic audit of pubic debt actually could throttle and muzzle that institution. Kudos to it declining that call.

First of all, before debt audit is done, KK government was supposed to tell us the amount of debt kenya have, who are the lenders, when was the loan received, how much have been paid and how much is the balance. Then we shall do comparison between the two reports.

The role of an independent taskforce in any matter is to avoid conflict of interest as it executes its TORs. Every government MD&A will be audited, including that of the Auditor General. You understand now?
