Thanks! - the settings on the amp and pedal are the same as the picture I used in the video. But it was mainly the post processing that gave it the "Mellon Collie shine". But for jamming you can get very close with any Marshall.
It sounds like a rotary speaker or leslie effect for the intro riff, and then the clean part sounds like the eventide H3000 - with the delays and reverbs -- greet song!! :)
@@williamanthony175 Wow that's amazing - ya those strategies are like 3k and up now and impossible to find. -- what cab do you run it with? Have you tried it with a DI box into the cpu and using IR's?
Maybe a little woofy on that low end (although so is the album to be fair).. you could maybe clean up the low a little bit but otherwise that's sounds pretty damn close to my ears.
@@andrewbenks yeah I think a lot of it is the pickups they use. Billy specifically likes them Hot Rails a lot. I think there's something about having super hot pickups that contributes a lot to the Pumpkins tone.
Super solid on all of them but both the clean and fuzzy parts of Bullet with Butterfly were fantastic. Bravo

I always wondered if they used an actual leslie on that or if it's some sort of chorus pedal or emulation of a leslie.
@@ToneSherpa Ya hard to say but I would guess it was probably an effect (too much time to find a Leslie for just one deep cut song)
