@@cent7169 depends whether you accept the Tanakh and Gospel or not. I'd say look at Genesis Chp 9 were G-d makes a covenant with Noah that applies to all people. That said, I don't have much against Islam except things like the verse of the sword (9:5) and some of the behavior of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh). I think the Gospel is higher revelation frankly and we are going backwards with the Quran I guess.

While there were many Jewish/Christian sacred texts excluded by humans who had no authority to do so! Yeah that verse is written in The Quran, that's exactly the point. The Quran recognise all the holy books that been sent down to all the prophets. The Quran recognises and validates all the prophets, their teachings and holy books of all the prophets from adam to muhammad, all of them for different time and people, and then tell us that this holly book, the quran, is the final revelation of all that's sent down to the final prophet, Muhammad SAW.

They recognise all the holy books, but refuse to acknowledge the last one (Quran).
