This is such a good topic to bitch about. I am a school teacher and i have tried many times to try and conduct a sex education seminar in school but the problem always arisis with the parents. As you rightly said, in a class of 40 children, more than 25 will complain that why we are telling all this to the kids. We should focus on education.
Even with girls a menstruation education proves to be problematic because school is co educational and the parents of boys have a problem..
I studied in an icse school in Hyderabad. 90s kid. I remember in class 10 our biology teacher came to the class and asked us to cross out the entire chapter on human reproduction. Told us that no questions would be asked from it. I still read the chapter of course and i remember one particular line from it. "The climax of human intercourse is the male orgasm". Boy did my sex life suffer because i read that line😂. Years later when i was doing my mbbs, i was shocked at how little my engineering friends, both guys and girls, knew about sex. Ideally there needs to be sex education around the time of puberty but immediately there needs to be sex education for undergrads in non biology fields. Guys especially need to learn about female reproductive health. The ignorance is at a crisis level.

The lack of sex education among young boys is really problematic. Thankfully, schools make students aware about the changes a body undergoes during puberty. But concepts of private parts, consent, privacy, molestation and abuse are not spoken at all.
Before boys girls should learn all these concept of consent( when girls start seducing when man is not in mood. And if boy do so then that called date rape. ), molestation (like we see huge numberof fake molestation cases for attention seeking, to win argument in road rage or for extortion), Abuse ( which girls do most now days )
Contraception joke. Told to us by a community medicine prof. A young doctor goes to a village to talk to people about contraception. The demonstration would generally involve the doctor taking a banana and putting a condom on it. Months go by and the doctor realizes that birth rates in that particular village are rising. So she goes back to the village and asks a woman privately if she has any doubts about condoms. The woman replies that no, she's got no doubts because it's so easy. Every time she's about to sleep with her husband, she goes to the kitchen, puts a condom over a banana and excitedly goes to the bedroom.

Dan, times have changed, back then, we didn’t engage in intercourse until we knew what were the repercussions, but now, Kids do it and then learn. This is the new age 😂
