I think it's also important to realize that one of the resaons his receivers always seem to be wide open, is because he's throwing the ball with anticipation and hitting them in stride with a very catchable ball. His ball placement and accuracy are incredible, and it makes things so much easier for his receivers.

purdy drops the ball into the basket where any receiver should be making the catch while in full stride. you don't see receivers slowing down, speeding up, changing course, or reaching to make crazy circus catches because they don't have to! it's hard to see because of who they already were, but i think purdy makes our guys better as well.

How you start is indicative of all the critics on tv, you’re just honest about it. What I mean is, they haven’t watched Brock closely either. All they’ve really seen is the highlights and those don’t tell the story. What Brock does at qb is nuanced. It’s a huge collection of fine details that combined together is special. That’s why an OG in the league like Trent Williams is willing to talk him up. It’s because no one besides, Kyle Shanahan is watching more closely than big Trent and he knows what a big difference those things make, or as Sylvester Stallone‘s character Rocky put it “That’s how Winning is done.”

Honestly I'm worried about the Ravens, we'll probably have our star DT Arik Armstead out, but I know Keaton is out for the year so maybe that evens out a little (I wish both teams were 100%, cause I really want to see that match up).

The O line on PFF isn’t highly rated. Like 21st in the NFL. He slides around in the pocket. Trying to say Brock needs to play the style of Allen or Hurts is not a proper way to compare them. However to answer the question of would Brock make the eagles or bills better? Yes. Brick is turning Aiyuk into a pro bowler what do you think he would do with AJ Brown. Brock throws guys open. Imagine what AJ Brown with a QB who is ultra accurate, throws on time, is excellent at reading defenses and coverage could do. Hurts, Allen, Lamar, none of them are better than Brock at what I just listed. If ELITE is about Passing the football than Brock is the most Elite of any of those guys. Sure they may have the advantage when it comes to how far or fast they throw it, but rarely does that determine overall success. Really those are traits needed to compensate for a the inability to anticipate or read the defense. Wheather excluded. In the elements it definitely helps.

Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Jackson and Hurtz are more elite than Purdy physically. However, he makes up for that mentally imho. He doesn't look like them physically but his performances rival them in his own way starting from what he has within. Call him what you like. He's elevated this Niners team like none other. Outside of those five mentioned, you can't guarantee that anyone else you put in there would be able to keep this pace or better it imho. Argue, yes, guarantee, no. Maybe I'm missing a gem or two here or there but it's unlikely; before getting rolled by Buffalo I may have included Dak for his play over the last few weeks but...Anyhow, we know what we have in Brock and wouldn't trade him. Not to mention his low salary increases his overall value allowing Lynch to stack this squad for Shanahan not just this year but for the next 3 or so (if we're smart we'll sign him before then bc that will be cheaper at the pace he's going). Go Niners!

It’s just disrespectful to point to his success and say it’s because of this person or that person. Regardless of who’s around him, he still has to show up ready to go on game day and he still has to make it happen when his teammates need him to make a play or throw. He didn’t show up ready for the Ravens, we saw what happened. Purdy is the difference hate it or like it because he plays the position that makes the offense run and it’s running. Jimmy, Trey, etc didn’t and couldn’t do this with this group of guys. My previous comment Can before watching and I was expecting a whole video of trolling but I respect this one a lot. 🤝
