This here is an original song written by my very good buddy at James Tristan Redding. James was one of the first people to grant me their friendship when I first moved to Nashville. Has patiently showed me the ways of songwriting, how to tackle situations in the music industry, and has put up with a lot of sh!t from yours truly with the utmost grace.
When I heard this song for the first time I immediately fell in love, it has a depth of meaning that I haven’t heard in a song in years, and I haven’t heard a tune from it’s perspective ever before.
Think about it… you have no clue who that person you sat next to in a diner was or what they could have done to change your life if you decided to start a relationship. That guy handing over the ketchup could have just as easily been the guy who got me my first record deal or hit me with his car and killed me.. I’ll never know, we never got that far.

I asked James permission to put my spin on it, and he was gracious enough to say yes.
James runs a writers round here in Nashville, Tennessee at the Springwater Supper Club and Lounge called the Writers At The Water.
It’s held every Wednesday from 5-8, and I highly recommend checking it out as either a spectator or a participant. You just never know who or what you’re gonna find, and I think he’s got something special going over there.
