Yes unfortunately you do. However there are apps out there that removes the background for you as well. I just gone it easier to use Canva since I use it for everything else
The mirror option is in your printer settings. When you choose your printer and click on more options there is a mirror image option. On mine is is close to the bottom. Hope that helps

You can make any size templates with Canva

I'm not sure I you can send it directly but you can always download your file as pdf print and flatten it and then print the pdf.
