I never cut things off the sprue tree but slashes neon pink weapons are so iconic to the character it was so nice to have the option to display him with the classic head and those weapons. If you have the figure, and really want those true Nostalgia vibes. Bite the bullet and cut them off the tree
Agreed. I’ve been swapping out weapons a bit but I’ve definitely been thinking I will stick to displaying him with the pink weapons it hits my nostalgia too hard.
Yea I've done that for a few too. Casey's weapons are iconic.

Not usually the biggest fan of Super 7, but this guy is awesome in hand! Can't believe BBTS clearanced him for only $20 !!
I Am So Satisfied with this figure. I got it in the mail on a Wednesday and throughout the entire week I have not been able to put it down. I'm not even that die hard of a Ninja Turtles fan but something about Slash being the evil ninja turtle, make him stand out. Great review!

Thanks in doing your Super7 Ultimates TMNT Slash review. Slash, at least for me, is my favorite TMNT character.
I love it, I'm going to pick this guy as soon as I get some money. Looking at this review , I make me think that the trees in Dimension X are actually that magenta color and that's why all of his accesories with wood are that color, at least that seems to be Super7's interpretation of it. This is definitely the best line of S7 ATM (Not considering Transformers and GiJoe that I don't collect).
Super7 is the best because modern accessories and original old accessories in the figure pack.
Cool figure! Mine should be here soon! The color is a little dark, but I don’t mind it. The vintage head could have been a little better. I agree about the eye, and I think his face should be more full. Aside from that, love it!

Out of all the Ultimate Super7 TMNT figures, Slash is by far my favorite. The attention, detail and texture is just amazing. Many people sees TMNT Super7 as uninteresting, but I think these people do a awesome job rebooting these figures with the modern day touch. Remember these figures when we were kids but now that we collect them as adults we’re not more responsible so it won’t be easy to lose these little parts.
My two complaint about Slash here is that I wish he came with swappable pink and black belts rather than doing this neither fish nor fowl belt that they did, as mine was black back in the day. And I wish they would have done some painted detail on the shoulder armor. I think I'll try a wash and paint the rope black.

It's fascinating that this figure looks more like my mind remembers the figure to have looked than the original figure actually looks. I really love it.
Idk. Something about his proportions. His body is so wide but his limbs, arms and legs are slimmer. I like how the vintage one had Hes chest puffed out but had his stomach sunk in giving him more of a build look.
Someone messed up in the paint department as it doesn't match the promo, disappointing for sure. What the hell is the QC guy doing at Super7?
The nunchucks are VERY flexible. I usually have them in his belt. But that's just mine
Slash is the only fig from this wave I'm picking up and looks amazing. This definitely seems like a standout for the Super7 TMNT line.

Thankfully there isn't really any major issues with loose joints. The legs aren't perfect, but he's able to stand
Bebop and Rocksteady are great too and can be found on sale

Only my Donnie has good hips my other 3 seem to be loose but I can’t wait for this
Maybe its just me, but I'm getting the same vibes a Slythe from the Thundercats wave, still an amazing figure!
I didn't like the color choice at first but it grew on me in hand. Probably my fav ultimate from S7.
Maybe they'll do a classic color variant with teal skin & solid black belt.

The color on Slash isn’t a HUGE problem, but it’s pretty bad on Ace Duck. Love the Super7 sculpts and accessories but something’s going on lately in the color department.
Could it be fading on the vintage slash?

This is by far my favorite figure in my collection. Since NECA did their version of Tokka, do you think Super7 is going to make a Tokka? You know, get the most out of this huge mold of plastic.
I still have the OG Tokka that was a retooled Slash. I remember being salty that the shell was wrong compared to the movie (seemingly not noticing that almost every other detail was wrong as well) but I still love both of them. I hope they do that Playmates version as well 🤞
Great figure, only question I have is why was the shoulder pieces not painted? Even just the ropes holding them together would've been nice.
If Slash was released in wave 2 I bet the shoulder pads/rope would have been painted, Super7 are focusing on too many different lines and the standards are starting to slip imo.

Is Super 7 better plastic than Neca? I have heard that Neca turtles cartoon break easily.
Yes! I’ve had multiple NECA break. Never had that issue with Super 7.
