That frame is not part of the motor. Frame is only to mount the stator rotor for loading purpose. Stator and rotor are shipped without frame, and can be directly mount on the application.

That frame is just to mount the stator and rotor. Stator and Rotor components are shipped separately which can be mount on the application directly.
