    These student loans aren’t just disappearing, instead it’s being foisted on the shoulders of the taxpayers-INCLUDING the very people whose loans are being “forgiven”, their kids, their kids’ kids and for generations after that. This is so unconstitutional. How is it fair to make people who couldn’t afford college, who chose other paths, or who’ve already paid their college loans off? It isn’t fair. It’s theft from hardworking taxpayers to pay for others’ delinquency. If you agreed to a loan contract, that’s on YOU to pay it back. Imagine all the people with mortgages and credit card debt demanding for their obligations to be wiped away too.

    I'm in graduate school and I am a TA. So many of the students that in college shouldn't be there. Many of them can barely read and write. Grade inflation is a huge problem. It doesn't seem fair that tax payers should have to fund their tuition. They aren't working for their grades and many of them aren't working to pay for their tuition either. It took me four years to go to community college and another four to get my BA. I went part time because I also worked.

    • @scratchpenny
      @scratchpenny Před 22 dny +2

      Damn right. I'm also in graduate school, and I see the same thing. However, these issues are occurring in multiple areas. For example, student readiness, grade inflation, low-quality curriculums, and excessively high tuition costs are all part of this problem.
      Ironically, the proposed government solution to these problems is to bail everyone out since the whole situation was created by Big Government in the first place. Federally guaranteed student loans caused these issues by incentivizing inefficiency at the institutional level and subsidizing education that wouldn't otherwise be viable. Student loans don't operate like regular loans - they only have to be paid back based on one's ability to pay and can eventually be forgiven. In that way, these loans incentivize students to take more loans because they are a better kind of loan debt than most others. Additionally, universities are incentivized to increase tuition and expand because student loans will always be available since they are guaranteed by the government. Thus, many universities operate like businesses that can never go bankrupt, aiming to increase revenue and expand while providing the lowest acceptable quality - they exist for their own sake. That's why they are constantly promoting non-essential administrative roles and departments like those dealing with diversity, women's rights, native rights, African American rights, and on and on.
      The whole system is diseased. Yet, I fear that those who don't get on board with this scheme will pay the most. These graduates are still getting well-paying jobs at NGOs, Big Businesses, and Big Government. So, significant portions of the economic system reward them while those who did things the "right way" will pay for it.

      @ThroughTheHaze Před 21 dnem +1

      @@scratchpenny The school I am attending keeps increasing the number of students they are accepting. Every year they say, "this is the largest freshmen class." The problem is that students have no where to live as there aren't enough places on campus or elsewhere, and rent is so expensive. Students are being forced into bad apartments off campus. I know this because I am living in one of these places and I hate it. My school knows these apartments are bad but they don't care because more students= more money. So students are stressed, but the higher ups get their money. Something needs to change. Since schools are expensive, students think that they deserve good grades automatically.

    The government is not gonna pay those loans. If they are paid it will be by you and me by increasing our taxes. Like you guys I'm a college graduate but imagine not being able to go to college for whatever reason. A mechanic, truck driver, plumber or anyone who had to pick a trade now having to pay for someone elses college. So wrong. The Supreme Court ruled against Joe on this but being the entitled man he thinks he is plans to do it anyway.

    I would have liked to hear what Becky Quick was going to say to Drukenmiller. Warren Buffet just praised Jerome Powell for his handling of the FED and what this guys is saying is just the opposite. I would agree with what Drukenmiller is saying, but have a lot of respect for Buffet and would like to understand why he feels different.

    So if you go to college you know you have to pay for it unless you get a grant or scholarships so why go if you can't pay and make the rest of us who didn't get to go pay for it that's like me buying a car or house and the college kids paying for my loan so it's not right at all

    The money to Israel benefits us ten fold. You don't understand the complexity of the situation.
    We sell Israel missles for the iron dome anti missle system that they developed & gave us the technology.
    Israel was building military aircraft in the 70s & the US stopped them so Israel wouldn't sell them.
    Part of the agreement was Israel could purchase plantes from the US.
    Every plane that Israel buys they strip down & upgrade the technology. That technology is given freely to the US.
    US pilots train in Israel.
    Every dollar that Israel gets is spent in the US so it supports our military suppliers.
    Every loan that was made to Israel was paid back in full with interest, the only country in the world who's done that.
    The 6th fleet is often stationed in Haifa where the amphibious assault in the gulf war came from.
    I could go on & on. Israel has a stronger economy then we do per capita. They've been forced into this system by us.

      Facts 💯 People have no idea how many times Israel has saved our ass with intel that nobody else around there would give us, & yeah they strip our fighters technology & replace them with their own, they are genius at technology & don’t mind sharing with us, not too many youngsters know about these things, shoot half the country doesn’t know cause they’re stuck in the American bubble & don’t pay attention to the outside world!

    hold on you all may be bias on this issue...disclosed how much student loan debt you each have. Look, it is not fair to anyone to pay for loans other have taken out. Now you are correct, all the foreign aide needs to stop.....................they print money and borrow money to send out all this aide ....just going of what is collected by the US taxpayer does not cover all the cost and entitlement the government runs up...........hench the deficit...........we spend money we do not have..............

  • @NWRIGH13570

    I’m confused. In uk we get loans and don’t pay them back until we hit certain income thresholds but they get written off after 30 years, and only 27% only pay them back.
    Is this what You’re against?

    • @GodsSoldierz
      @GodsSoldierz Před 23 dny

      Here a lot of people get student loans, blow all the money & study something that’s going to get them nowhere like being a professional protester, then push anti American propaganda & expect the tax payers to pay for it when most of us can’t even afford to go to college & work miserable low paying jobs, while they have whatever they need going to privileged expensive colleges…

    • @GodsSoldierz
      @GodsSoldierz Před 23 dny

      We want our kids learning real world studies not propaganda & things that get you nowhere in life, & actually taking responsibility for the loans they knew they would have to pay back eventually & not being brainwashed to hate America from all these “professors” coming from abroad that don’t even like us but teach our children…

    There should not even be 1 American cent sent to other nations, ever! America first, and only! Other countries are not our problem! We need to return to isolationism!

    • @ca8944
      @ca8944 Před 27 dny

      That’s not smart.
      Isolationism does t work when we need trading partners for things that we can’t get or produce here.
      We also get intel and technology from Israel and the terrorists/countries that hate them, hate us and it’s not bc they we are allies or send them money in exchange for intel and technology.
      They hate the west/democracy/republics/ Judie-Christian nations.
      It’s been like that for 1500 years, even before Israel or the US was founded.
