Mate instead of this you should watch the resume frome "france tv sport" it's in french but the higlights are on point (and longer, they don't focus only on the point awarding actions, it's much more thorough).

Sur ce match le public français avait clairement choisit son camp et c’était celui des Fidji .
Il faut dire que déjà sur l’avant match les supporters fidjiens avaient la joie communicative à l’inverse des supporters australiens plus calmes mais surtout plus dans le « entre eux » .
Ajouté à cela cette tradition française de préférer David a Goliath et une équipe fidjienne sérieuse et plaisante à voir jouer il n’en a pas fallu plus pour que le public choisisse d’encourager le XV au maillot blanc !
En tout cas super ambiance au stade est bonne fiesta caves les supporters fidjiens heureux comme pas deux !!

Aussie got away with a lot at the rucks, saw them lying on the ground with their hands all over the ball, even throwing it back to their own side and the ref awarding Australia with a knock on advantage for it lol. At 2.42🤣

Cymru won fair and square. Maybe the penalty count was different but partial technical infringements like almost offside are not the same as pulling down the maul, where a player could get a leg broken. 253 tackles was a magnificent effort and a world record in the RWC.

as much as I'd like to say that Fiji was cheated in the last 10 minutes against Wales, but I agree with you on the penalty count......and if Fiji had taken the 3-pointers each time since the 1st half, they could've won the game and the bonus point

3:16 - 3:18 playing the ball on the ground. Referee say it was a knock on by Fiji and awarded the knock on advantage.
By the way, for Tuisova's score it looked like he pushed Nic White out of the contest for the ball. Referee said it was just shoulder to shoulder, but replay shows Tuisova clearly extended his arm to push, although his focus was on the ball.

Yer possibly I just think they are adapting tho and just getting better and better. All fiji really had going for them was there 'flashyness' now they have adapted to playing rugby as a whole which is awesome to see. But still very entertaining rugby to watch foresure!. Am I not up to date on rugby rules because that is basically just a fancy dummy pass. Also the first try from Australia should’ve been disallowed. You could here the Fijian captain arguing with the ref. He was telling the ref when the replay was on screen “that is clearly a play on the ground, look?” And the ref kept telling him it’s a knock on like wtf?
That shit is clear for everyone in the audience to see on the big screen at the stadium and at home. How da fuq could he keep a straight face still claiming that to be a knock on from Fiji when the literal replay shows a foul play on the ground for Aussie to get the ball. Bruh i am so done with international refs. We need to get Nigel to ref every game because other refs are complete shit at their jobs.

It's a new rule adopted by IRB from Rugby League. The Attacking Team that kicks the ball from its own 22 which goes out on the Opposition's 22 will be awarded the throw during the line out..
