The thumbnail says Why I left Google but it was never discussed in the whole interview. Don't clickbait videos like this to get views!
That's fair feedback tbh he actually told me why he left in the podcast studio right before the episode unfortunate we didn't cover it in detail in the episode
Hey Abhinav, thanks for highlighting your concern. We understand if it felt misleading to you. The purpose of the thumbnail is not to quote Arpit's exact sentence. The inverted commas are used solely for design purposes. If you had the chance to watch the whole episode, you would know that Arpit gave up his job at Google to build his startup - Duggup. The thumbnail points towards that direction.
Moreover, there was a discussion about job switching at 15:10 where he talks about switching from Amazon (an MNC) to Unacademy (a startup at the time) to double down on core competency and growth based on the 3-P formula shared at 12:23. Hope that helps :)
I already know his career trajectory as I have been following him on other social media handles from past years. The thumbnail should have been creatively different like From Google to Duggup, Job to Entrepreneurship, etc.
Thats the sole way to get views sadly
Thanks for this comment, saved my time.
great pod
Thanks harkirat!
Thanks Harkirat!
Thanks Harkirat for tuning into the episode ❤️
Its a shame that @poojasanwal used a click bait
😅@@MohanRaj-vp1zt
Great conversation with Arpit. Just superb thoughts by him. Thanks for bringing him.
super insightful....the folks at Fueled are doing such amazing work 👏👏👏
Problem solving (how u structure things and not get panic )
Constant learner (attitude to learn)!
Dont do things which lifts off the smile on your face (Never knew someone can be this simple yet bold)
You should have atleast two out of these while switching company
1. Paisa 2. Power(core competency) 3.position (growth)
Curiosity ,bias for action, proof of work ( serendipity can take you to places, world needs more heterogeneous people rather than homogeneous)
Keen eye, who is intrested in knowing /building/founding.
The kind of stuff u put out the kind of people u attract
Raw and authentic :)
Thank you for summarising this Tanushka 🙌
Glad you found it interesting and helpful enough to take notes.
This is so well summarized tanushka. Cheers!
Woah this is so good tanushka!
This is great. I am a follower of Arpit in linked in and CZcams. I always get inspired by his stories and videos. I started thinking differently about engineering after following him. This is a great pod. Thank you 😊 he has definitely made an impact to my life on engineering.
Bro... The uniqueness about him, is that he's story telling skills are great, i didn't regret watching this
For story telling you need to have stories in the first place. So it's not just about the "telling skills".
Great podcast, his fluff is actually true and inspiring
I can hear him all day, he have a story telling talent that make engineering more interesting.
Arpit's experience and nuggets of wisdom are always so inspiring. Thank you Pooja and Fountane team ❤
It was only possible through you ankush :)
This was very informative podcast. Pls keep bringing more content like this.
Found this podcast recently, and it's a gem. Thank you!
Great podcast , loved to hear both of you
Instead of focussing on thumbnail. Focus on listening the pod. 🚀
The reason could be simple, to give more time to his new venture.
Amazing podcast with amazing host 🌟🌟 Loved it !!
Hey there, thanks for watching! The reason is mentioned in the description box as well.
Here's the thing, genius. Ever occurred to you that some people might have been majorly interested in the thumbnail, and not so interested in other things, and they wasted a lot of time? It's simple, if it's not in the podcast, why say it is in the thumbnail?
so basically.. i didn't read the thumbnail.. i just watched the face of Arpit sir and i clicked on this video.. it was so worth it.. i would say one of the best an hour and a half of my life..
Great interview and insights
excellent interview. good job 👍
hi arpit, i have good knwldge on sas, python, sql, powerbi, alteryx i attended interview bt rjctd due to frm16 issues, bt nw decded to wrk as a frelncr bt thy r askng slry slips, any sggstns how to get wrk as a frlncr
I also agree, LinkedIn is becoming something like Facebook or at least not that professional.
Plus, when most things are hidden or abstracted then LinkedIn like companies boast that they have this or that efficient algorithms when you don't know how to verify, as I don't see relevant posts max time on my wall.
Loved this podcast for sure!
amazing conversation
Usually, I watch podcast with 1.5x or 2x playback speed. But I watched this one at 1x normal speed. This podcast was so insightful and inspiring. I remembered the level of curiosity I had, way back in School when I first got my hands into books related to planets, astronomy etc. Podcasts like these makes you wonder the endless possibilities which can stem out from being curious. Thank you Pooja and the entire Fueled team. You have gained a subscriber :)
Thanks for watching and subscribing, Sagar!
damn such a well produced one!
Great interview
She is so beautiful.❤❤❤
Aur chill nerdy logo ke le ao. Ye bhayani badhiya banda hai
Was just listening to his interview with the dukaan guy. V solid.
Not sure if it is mentioned in the video, but what does Position bring you? if you have money and core competency (you learn alot) for what reason would u go for "position"?
Great stuff
amazing pod ✨
loved the idea behind arbok, btw arbok is team rocket's pokemon😆
Yes and they made Pokemon amazing and memorable 😅
Of course apart from the legendary Charizard fight with Magmar ✨
@@AsliEngineering full nostalgia sirji , Pokemon theme songs were motivational 🔥 specially the hindi version 😃
Arpit is like a star now for techies I guess.

Nice podcast
4:40 constant learner and problem solving skills.
engaging
I believe that every business out there is claiming to be an authentic one but still others raise concerns then how will you measure your authenticity level?
He has the same mindset which I have to be curious and not to do same as everyone else
Kitni cute hai ye yaarr 🤤
and my doubt is why pillows are there on the laps of the both
I would really love to hear about the scenarios where they have broken prod and how and what did they do to fix it ....! 😅 I have been in couple of them and it's fun 😂
damnn
Staying put in a toxic job even if the market is bad ... may not be a wise decision
Yes..money is not always the point
You have to, money gives you independent. You need to be independent.
@@binarypain Having more time gives you freedom not money. Don't sell it in the illusion of buying freedom cause you are doing the opposite
Modi ji of software world.
[Curiosity]---> really moved by this word arpit
Pooja is so damn beautiful!

Hahaha 😭❤️
Summary btao jldi
I would add one more thing
PPPH
h is health.
You should get time for your health as well. Otherwise ,what's the bottom line of the whole thing.
why Arpit's linkedin doesnt have that 2 months experience
Holding that pillow looks pretty sus.
I sense some narcissism
"Can code for 15 hours straight without even a sip of water" -- Bhaiya jee thoda jada nahi ho gaya?
For 1.5 years I suffered from acute water deficiency. Something I fixed now but yesterday I did 10 hours straight. Again, I do not recommend but this happens when I am in the flow state. Not everyday.
@@AsliEngineering Damn! Take care of yourself buddy. I do agree with your flow state part, however, as per my experience of being a handson engineer for almost over 12 years now, I have found that my productivity tends to taper off with extended period of coding unless it's a very trivial and repetitive code. Small breaks keep me charged up and help in going for longer duration. Sure, I have had episodes of being in front of my keyboard for double digit hours, but those hours were less productive and effectively had my brain circuit fried up lol. But, whatever floats your boat is good, best wishes with Duggup!
Haa yaar, 13 hour tak coding karna without a sip of water. Kuch zyada hi ho gaya
Lego....
I too can code 10 to 15 hours gay... i start as straight but trun gay as time progresses.
Damn 😂😂
Its a shame that @poojasanwal used a clickbait .
Such a Obsessed and Nerd Stuff and trying to put on the same on others Mind 🤢 Life Much More !!!
the person who says that he'll create a 'authentic stories' platform is having a fake thumbnail. new heights reached in hypocrisy!!!!!!
@@rajkamalpmalyal8664 i don’t know why people in india worship these guys. legit herd culture
@@rajkamalpmalyal8664 the worst part is, these a-holes should realise that millions of people are watching them, they should at least have the bare minimum humanity and not misuse whatever views they’re getting.
@@rajkamalpmalyal8664 this is precisely why i hate indian userbase online. first they destroyed facebook, then twitter, youtube, snapchat, instagram, tiktok. everything. the list goes on and on and on.
Click bait, already we people are tired of these stuff. Don't make these type of click baits.
lol 16 hours without a sip of water. That isn't a good thing at all and nothing to flex about.
Fake Thumbnail :(
