I had the honor of meeting this dude at a McDonald’s with my friends one time back in high school. He roams around in a big colorful bus nowadays which he had parked outside. We liked his bus so we started talking to him and he has told us about how he used to make rock music back in the 80s, we didn’t believe him until we searched up on Spotify and found a couple of his albums (both his old stuff as Carlo Trent and the Demons, and his new “stage name” captain Jonny rush and the king Chinook band). Strangest part was that he was completely unaware of both what Spotify was and the fact he was on it. The thing he was most proud of showing us was his “comedy album” which was basically just him recoding bad jokes into a very poor microphone overlayed with laugh tracks.
OK, my guitarist (R.I.P), had this record and told me an incredible story about this guy. He went down the rabbit hole trying to track Carlos in the early 1980s. What he found out about this guy was unbelievable.
