Heel Horse Position and Bridling Up with Ross Ashford

Ross Ashford, the 2018 ‪@Resistol‬ Rookie of the Year in the ‪@PRCAProRodeo‬, takes some time to talk about how he rides, Carlos, his young heel horse during a practice session at Trevor Brazile’s, even though his header (Clint Summers) is on one of his A-teamers. Ross talks about going slow with his heel horse and how to keep his horse bridled up to the inside, yet keep him square, by controlling the horse's hips.
At the end, you can see how that training pays off when Ross makes some runs on his good heel horse, Commander.
