    Hi sis.Thanks for the info.I speak German and French moderately, will that be helpful in getting admission and job? Also I heard that u can't work till after six months. Can one cope with all these small hand work before getting a better job?

      Thank you Ishimwe. Some courses are offered 100% in English and some are not so, you'll have to check for your preferred course. As for accommodation, l have two videos on that on my channel so please check them out. I hope this helps.

I have a question though, I check the requirements for masters in computer science in university of Geneva and i saw that they might teach in French as well. Do you think that’ll be a problem for a person who only speaks English? 😅

      Yes, it is. Some modules will be taught in French and others in English.

      So after school, you have to apply for a 6 months stay(that is the maximum) to enable your job search. I would say it’s easy if you have God, you know the language of the canton and you have the set skills required for the job.

    I read that international students in Switzerland must have lived in Switzerland for at least 6 months before they can apply for jobs
    And even then you can only work 15 hrs a week excluding weekends

    Thank you for the insight. Please, for the proof of fund, which country's bank statements am I to present. Nigeria bank statements or Swiss bank statements. I am confused here, from the Swiss embassy website in Nigeria, they said 6 months of bank statements, not specifying the country. The university's website said Swiss Bank statement or a bank that has its branch in Switzerland. Please help me clarify. Thank you.

      Hello Max, you can use whichever bank statement as long as it has the equivalent amount of money required in Swiss francs by the authorities

I would like my son to study there next school year 2022-2023 he will graduate from high school by june 2023. He is studying in American school of douala cameroon but we are from Gabon. He wants to study computer science. I would like to know if the course are taught in English at university of Geneva.

      The other option is to have the money in your account. But you can always send them a mail of inquiry. It may be possible

      Hello Sequioa. No, most Swiss schools don’t require you to write IELTS if you were taught mostly in English.
