    I descend from German ancestry and people correct me when I say it the German way. Glad you have this video for me to show people that it's just the way it is pronounced in it's inventor's language.

    In France, people usually say : " volsvagen ". That's awful, I know. And when you say it properly in front of them, they look at you like you're choking.

      You didn't have to say "American". It's ENGLISH. American is not a language and your English is not the original.
      Plus, It's the same F and V in the Spanish alphabet and many alphabets more.
      I understand why some Europeans say Americans are ignorant and annoying. Even it's wrong call yourselves "Americans" because America is the whole continent.

    He needed a consult on how this is pronounced in English. Or maybe he meant by Brits?? No one, now in America, would pronounce "wagen" like that (??"waugen"). Maybe in the 50's and early 60's?? Oh well, can't wait to hear tutorial French car names.

    It would be much better to let an native speaker speak the words. Because you don't quite get it right. It sounds better than the normal butchering of the word, but it is still not right: The "V" is much more like an "F", the "o" is much shorter (like the word would be spelled like "vollks", and the "w" is in no shape or form a "u"-sound in disguise. It is spoken like a "v".
