    It’s interesting how she says contractors are priced high at 386 / sq ft are unrealistic. It’s unrealistic for her to say that, at the end of the day price is about quality and service. Great quality and service is not cheap. It’s like someone saying that Realms fees are unrealistic just bc you can find someone else that’s willing to do it cheaper.

      Yeah, that’s fair. I also personally don’t love cost per sq ft when some costs like utilities trenching have nothing to do with the ADUs size. But that’s why I like these interviews. It gives the sponsor a way to represent themselves honestly and some people will love it and others won’t. But everybody knows what you’ll get!

    Hey, I think you may be here in Napa? I have an acre in the county and am considering a prefab home as an ADU which seems to include the engineering and getting permits and this particular company has sold in Napa before, so they can probably refer me to contractors who have assembled their prefab ADUs in the past. I would love to pick your brain; but don't know how to contact you. Plus, I bet you get thousands of people wanting to reach out to you personally as well...

      Hehe. That’s all sound reasoning. Did you consider the county’s forgivable ADU loan?
      What company is it? I’m guessing prefabADU? I like them. I’m actually a dealer for them. But you can work directly with them too.
