A very long time
You all have a lot to say about Tejano music in the 90's. We were very successful and we continue to have careers on our own to this day. What are you all doing? Probably not making music. You don't have to like something from 20 years ago- no one really cares what your opinions are either.
Art brother those guys don’t know shit about music. I bet those cats listen to that bullshit that dominated Houston music today which is in no were shape or form true tejano music. Never stop doing what your doing bro. I really love what you did with the classic song la misma!!
Don't listen to those people. They dont pay your bills. At midlife crises at least I'm confident you will be able to pay your bills and buy food.obr hour music, just like you love your mom and respect her even if she is old. And if people don't like the music anymore they can stop playing it and shut up!
This crap is what really contributed to tejano music's downfall. Tejano music used to be about going out and dancing , this circus act and others like them is about " look at me, look at me!!" , The people end up watching the spectacle instead of dancing and defeats the purpose. A lot of these musicians really wanted to be country or rock artists but settled on Tejano since the bar is lower. The fans don't expect much and also lowered their bar for what qualifies as Tejano. This trash ain't Tejano. This is like new kids on the block trying to emulate The Jackson 5 . I'm sure they had great success since like i said fans are conditioned to accept any old crap as long as there is a some "show" gtfoh 😆
