Some people get it made for 4.5 inches so it is exactly as thick as the wall and when wall is plastered, the plaster covers the door frame which doesn't look nice and is not properly installed too.
Similarly, the steel sheet which should be used to make the door frame should be of 16 gauge which will not only make the metal door frame stronger but it will be placed right and will also be balanced rightly. These days also people use door frames of looha but you the material of which chaukhat should be made should be of jasti looha. Jasti looha doesn't rust whereas looha rusts very easily and mind you getting the door frame removed and reinstalled is a very time consuming, costly and tiring process once you shift in the house. You should know how to balance the chaukat or door frame (metal in this case) so that you can check it once it is installed. The metal door frame specifications are also shared so that you can buy the right door frame.
So, you have to make sure that you follow these tips once getting the steel door frame or jasti looha chaukhat installed as you have to get it right the first time and and if the chaukhat is balanced the doors of your house will be balanced otherwise the doors will not be balanced. If you are getting the metal door frame installed you have to ensure that the level is right.
First thing they are checking is that the level should be right. If chaukhat is not leveled right, there is a bend and the door starts to open or close on its own. By a desi tool they check the level of the door and if it is not leveled they adjust the chaukhat before fixing it in. Once it is ensured that the door chassis of a house is rightly balanced we pour concrete material so that the door frame is fixed at the spot or place where we want it to remain intact. Some bricks are placed and then concrete is filled in it so that during the setting time of concrete the door frame doesn't balance out.
Bricks are also laid properly so that the support is provided to the Chaukhat.

Very apparent knowledge, first selection of different material and specific use not covered, second the bends , standard sizes not covered, the technical construction of door frame is much more important each angle and joint has bad or good effect on door after installation, I can't type much more it need video. Kindly remake it and add some frame makers interview also.
The gentleman in purple has not applied the cement at the end of the bricks properly. Modern levelling is with mercury filled stick
