I've always found it fascinating to see how other people organize and optimize their workspaces but there hasn't been a solid place to browse them. r/battlestations is full of gamers and minimalists. There is also a sub for music setups but not one for visual artists, so I decided to create it myself and kick things off with this video.

Obviously it comes down to personal preference, but I would suggest getting a cheap drawing board or a drafting table for traditional work. After switching I can no longer do serious work on a flat table.
agree or also use a tablet and get superdisplay app, get either remote or bluetooth gear vr controller $20 and put your keybinds. Your shoulder, neck, back, wrist will thank you.

I don't know why youtube never recommends your vids to me. I'm subscribed, I've watched every single one, but I only catch up with new ones when I stop to think "dang I haven't seen any challa content for a few months, wonder what he's up to"
It's probably because I don't upload frequently enough for the algorithm to remember to recommend me. The recommendations get skewed really quickly based on your recent watch history only
@@challagundla4 try yt shorts and come up with a quirky personality while giving tips about art. The more professional and high level the advice is the lower the views. So do simple tricks with art programs that can make anyone produce something good looking.

My set up was a Huion tablet but ive downsized to an iPad Pro 2021 because I don’t have much space at my uni halls :) btw I recommend the iPad Pro a lot but the pen isn’t the comfiest to hold. Makes my hand ache

I don't have much of a drawing desk setup, I just draw either on my bed or desk with my pc next to me. I don't draw on my pc for some reason but most of my materials are on my laptop soooo yea
