This is catwoman on wheels. Glorius. 😻
Truly Incredible skill level what she’s doing and at those speeds. My new Skate Heroine 🦸♀️
Thanks for the nice comment, I(cameraman) started skating because of your videos 6 years ago, on Powerslide kaze Boots 😊 we all need a hero to inspire us to explore new things sometimes.
This carries the essence that downhill longboarding videos really clicked with back in 2010 holy cow just pure unadulterated art
Thanks, we appreciate your very nice comment !
QUELLE IMAGE DE LA FEMME !
Оказывается, что и катание на роликах может выглядеть очень красиво
Woah! Normally, I find downhill skating videos pretty boring. But what you guys are doing, is just beautiful, both the cinematography and the skating. So stylish! Big thumbs up. 👍🤘
Thanks a lot !!
за езду в защите👍, за красивую езду👏
those slides are super impressive
It was amazing what she's doing going down. I've never seen a woman skating like that, this was without a doubt Wonder Woman in wheels.
This is really beautifully filmed ! This is honestly really motivating as a beginner skater, seeing what i could do when im more confident on my skates :) Those brakings were so smoooth
Thank you! Very happy to hear, learning to break is key, and very satisfying 😊
her breaking skills are truly stunning
yeah that was like the best video ive ever seen
Thank you !
Awesome sliding skill! Can’t stop watching
Wow! So skillful… your speed control techniques are fantastic
Bravo!
Excellent! She's awesome! Your edits are getting better and better brother. Please please please you need to feature Natan and Vin

Merci beaucoup Cris! On a mis beaucoup d'énergie pour celle-ci :)
Holy damn, a masterpiece indeed
Thank you very much Leonard
All the sliding is so damn intimidating. I spent the last hour and a half skating around my complex and speeding up on declines in the street only to feel as though I was going to slide into a damn flip every time I got anywhere near a slide and bust my ass. I’ll continue watching tutorials and practicing, but I REALLY want to be able to carve and slide down hills within a year. I just got some skates on Sunday and haven’t skated in over 20 years. To be fair, I am on 3x125 right now, but my 4x80 pair will be here Friday. I’m 46 now, but I’m determined to be able to do this before I’m 47. Any advice or feedback is greatly appreciated. Happy skating! 🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂
Thanks for the comment and great to hear :)! Put more angle on your wheels even when rolling straight and then turn slowly and feel the wheels slip (have you wheels in slide position before the turn, instead of turning, putting more angle and hoping it slides, which is scary). Also for the parallel, allow you ankles to bend a bit or bend the knees to give space between your feet during the slide while still keeping the angle, it makes it much safer. Finally, keep you shoulders straight into the forward direction to avoid over-rotating (flip). 3x125 is much harder to get correctly and 4x80 while good for the magic slide is hard for the parallel because of the shorter base. Take things very slowly and safely, avoiding falls will bring you much faster to being able to slide. Check this swissrollerschool video czcams.com/video/hXBPhFHe06k/video.html you should start with snow plow, it is great to understand your wheels (what angle is necessary for a slide). Finally I would advise you to be gentle on yourself, the goal is to have fun and you can already have a lot of fun at slow speeds and a focus on technique, some carving and soul slides. Learning all these unconcious movements take time and you will fall if you try to rush it. In any case I wish you a lot of luck it is great to hear that you are so stoked about skating at 46, we have many 40 year olds starting downhill, they take it slow and focus on technique and eventually can follow us even in the steepest sections. We will maybe publish a video showcasing them and their approach to downhill.
@@downhillwings thanks so much for the detailed response. I’ll be applying the info you’ve shared. What wheel size would you consider to be ideal for power sliding, stopping, carving?
@@sedat4151 I personally have 4x110 with 1mm rocker and it is great for carving, I would say, 4x90 or 4x100 is a sweet spot in my opinion, to carve you need the good grip of 4 wheels and an agile frame(not too long)
@@downhillwings one last question. Because I’ll be getting this stuff soon. What frame length and wheel hardness do you suggest? 😁🫡 I’m planning to get a rocker-able frame for options.
@@downhillwings btw, I have 2 pairs of FR1 skates with 165 mount.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Tip top cette vidéo ! ❤
Merci Ricardo!
The girl looks like a real Ninja! But please, be careful
amazing
As a beginner, going down those hills would be my last day on Earth 😅
All these featured riders started slowly, on flatter terrain without cars, and learned to break, and then moved to steeper terrain very gradually over the years :)
😃👌🏻
❤❤❤
Incroyable video mec 🔥 T'as choppé de tres belles images bravo 🙌
Yes merci beaucoup !!
😮wow
👏🏼👏🏼

Where is this?
This is in Lausanne, the Olympic capital, and downhill capital ;) (at least for Switzerland)
@@downhillwings Ah, Lausanne in Switzerland. Now I have to visit 😊
@@Maxpayam22 hit us up if you come with your skates 😉
@@downhillwings I'd love to 😍. Maybe in summer ... I hope 😊
@@Maxpayam22 @swissrollerschool on Instagram is a good way to reach the local community there.
what happened to the cameraman? can he stop?
Yes of course, he can also slide :)
c'est tout plat, pkoi un casque
Je vois beaucoup de gens qui tombent sur la tête au plat ou même sans aller en avant, tjrs mieux d'avoir le casque même pour les pros
Nice video, I like the flow ;) but why promoting weaving in front of cars?
If anybody is driving in the opposite direction it would be very respectful to stay on your lane instead of heading towards them only dodge the car in the last second.
Imagine how many heart/panic-attacks you may have caused ;)
Thank you! We document what exists with the less intervention possible and do not promote certain behaviors. Sometimes riders also don't wear protection , which here is the opposite, but we really try and keep our opinion out of the way and document the truth with a certain distance. The only thing we can do ourselves is to be careful to respect the rules, because you are right, as you see the camera never crosses the line.
Yeah well... you're not wrong. Also some people gotta "live a little". So what can you do. The skaters are giving drivers a bit of "expect the unexpected", which is only healthy.
Better if you wearing some colorful clothes )
To each their own style :)
Weaving in front of cars, that's going to turn out well...
Let's wish it does! Maybe one day the sport can get safer infrastructure.
If enough people did it they'd get used to it. Also the low speeds are making the risk of death pretty miniscule. Compared to American streets which are literally dragstrips.
@@paulblichmann2791 there is always a trade off between security of pedestrians, on the sidewalk, and your own, on the road. Also ideally, communication with drivers is really crucial so that they understand the intentions of the rider. Finally, many small roads are Max 30kmh with no sidewalks, where cars should expect to share the road with inlines and other...
