Hey there Driver. Thanks for dropping by to watch today's video. What is your take on the W900? If you like 'em, which of the models is your favourite? Love to hear from you.

The W9 and Coors beer will forever be linked thanks to one of the best movies from the 70s. Whenever I think KW I think Smokey & The Bandit.

There were also W-Models in Australia - a little different to the American W-Models as the hood was wider than the American spec trucks as they had to accommodate a even larger radiator and cooling package for the hot climate we have. The W-Model here later became the T900 Classic and, in later years, the T904, T908 and T909 (the T909 is the current spec truck)

My W900l daycab turns heads everywhere i go. Something about the big cat under the hood. And the distinguished KW emblem and grill. Power and beauty all in one truck.

As the owner of 2 1976 W900's, One is a Bicentennial Edition Aerodyne. And a 60" Flat top. Both bought new by my Dad. Still running them daily.

I've always wanted a W900 with the studio sleeper. Love those trucks. Can't decide between 379 or W900

Thank you, Dave. Awesome video. It’s a pity that some have to go out there and steal shit from others. You and Cathy have a great weekend.👍👍👍

The W900Ls are easy to tell the difference even from that photo they used... The W900B headlights sit much higher

"Smoothest ride" is not the descriptor I'd use for the 8 bag suspension. I'll take the big 4 bag any day.

Always been in a w9 or cabovers of various kinds. Drove a Pete for a week and i didn't like it at all. Especially that goofy clutch coming straight up from the floor.
    Nothing finer than a w9'er

Started in a '67 W9, single axle on torsion bars. On to a '73, now own a '79. KW missed an opportunity with the 'Icon'. Should have worked with Jones Performance to get the A Model hoods and made them look like the true iconic W900A. W990 shares the big cab with the T680 but doesn't offer the high sleeper. Makes no sense.

Kenworth has always been the cream of the crop and desired most by Owner Operators, Peterbilt was always the poor mans Kenworth, that has all change I would put Peterbilt ahead of Kenworth as far as most desired by Owner Operators.
