    You can fill the moderator with felt to make it even quieter. Excellent shooting. It's dead-on accurate & beautiful. I'd spring the money for one if they made a Bullpup rendition. I'm always hunting and carrying in my truck. Maybe one day they will design one into a Bullpup. It would destroy the internet & I'd buy two. Imagine the same quality stock in a bullpup. OMG.

    About 5 years ago i purchase 2 raw’s. First rifle had an very light hammer spring in it, was not able to shoot an .30/44.75 grain above 650 fps.
    Second rifle had an bad regulator with an enormous extreme spread. Both where purchases new here in the Netherlands. Both had to go directly back for replacement of parts. Back then raw also claimed to shoot and tuned every single rifle they ship, what was just not true. Apart from those issues that i had, they seemed extremely well built and the finish was outstanding. The accuracy was also very good after the replacement of the bad parts.

      doesn't really matter on PCP's, on springers, it does. The hammer impacts the valve with the same force whether it's loaded with a projectile or not.

    You say that Rmac and Ebr have only ever been won by Daystate,Fx,RAW. I just want to say lets not forget that in 2018 ,Claudio Flores won Ebr with a Brocock at 100 yards. And perhaps you could point me to a year where RAW has won 100 yards 1st place in any of those events? I’m not saying RaW is not an excellent gun.What I am saying is I dont recall them ever winning 1st place 100 yard at either event you mentioned.I’m not trying to argue,just trying to get the facts straight

    I have a question for you. I have a Crown MKii on order but have been interested in this gun for a while. I am contemplating changing my order to this gun instead of the Crown. What are your thoughts>. My favorite pellet to shoot is the JSB 34 grain which I hear this gun was built around. Please let me know your thoughts.

    Do you think a .25 RAW would be better for competition than a .22 RAW. I’m dying to get a RAW but wanted to get a caliber that would be good for a bench rest competition, just incase I ever decided to compete.

    • @AirgunChannel
      @AirgunChannel  Před 2 lety +2

      100 yards .25 maybe better, but more shots with .22 and the .22 shots a heavy pellet that weighs the same as a .25. It shoots 25.39gr .22's. Not sure. I am about to shoot my .22RAW at 100 yard for a video. Just wait 2 weeks.

    I have a .204 ruger with a match grade trigger that shoots a 40 grain bullet at over 4000 fps at over 1000 fpe. All for 500$. So your telling me this is worth 2k. Cmon guys these companies are taking you for a ride man. These guns are no way worth the price they charge. You are getting ripped off! IMO

    RAW guns have always looked ridiculous to me. It's like Theoben just can't break away from their break barrel roots and design their guns with an ineffective juvenile looking oversized moderator. Daystate and FX are on multiple levels above RAW in innovation and design.
