    The music! I love the sound of Mexican music. So beautiful. I think the store and Jim Morrison's place was cool, but the tour of all the shops and music in the Mexican area was awesome. The Mexican culture has given us so much.
    Antonio Aguilar - The statue you should us is...
    Antonio Aguilar Barraza (born José Pascual Antonio Aguilar Márquez Barraza;[2] 17 May 1919 - 19 June 2007) was a Mexican singer, actor, songwriter, equestrian, film producer, and screenwriter. He was a man standing at 6'1 with a dominating career in music. During his career, he recorded over 150 albums, which sold 25 million copies,[3] and acted in more than 120 films.[4] He was given the honorific nickname "El Charro de México" (Mexico's Horseman) because he is credited with popularizing the Mexican equestrian sport la charrería to international audiences.[3

Watching your channel makes other You Tubers who TRY to do what you do.... seem as if the suck. Because they do. I know you're an actor, and that these videos probably help get you some exposure, but you really do your research and I can tell the main reason you do this is to share information that YOU love and find interesting. Keep it up! I am just a broadcast journalist at a station, but if I produced shows, or could decide on channel line ups... I would for SURE suggest you and your "show"!!!! KEEP IT UP!!!

      +Vinny Roth I'm told zappa house was raised.. he lived in the log cabin home that silent movie cowboy, Tom mix once owned.. if you watch my Houdini Estate vlog I mention there was a tunnel that connected the estate to the house across the street that led zeppelin and rolling Stones at one time rented.. that property became frank zappa, so you can see his property in that vlog!

      Daze with Jordan the Lion Zappa lived in the Log Cabin from 1968 to 1969 and then moved into the Woodrow Wilson Drive house that Lady Gaga recently bought. There are a lot of photos of it if you do a Google search. Mama Cass also lived on Woodrow Wilson Drive so maybe you can go to both places for an episode. Easy to find pics of Mama Cass throwing parties in her backyard and several pics of The GTO's in Zappa's backyard at the cabin. The house directly behind Cass' was owned by Abigail Folger and she and Voytek Frykowski lived together there.

    @DavidWarrenArchivedChannel Před 6 lety +18

    Very cool videos, however, i need to mention this, that the house was primarily Pamela Courson's house. Morrison never really settled down in any place and didn't really had any belongings except his note books and a few other things (even clothes he would throw into the trash after wearing it out, definitely was not a material guy) most of his years spent in Los Angeles/Hollywood he lived in a room at the Alta Cienega Motel, one of the reasons was also because it was near his favorite spots and the Sunset Sound studios, Doors Workshop. His bedroom at the motel is currently rented to tourists as an attraction. Interiors of the room back then can be seen on Jim Morrison's 1970 film "HWY" where he filmed some scenes. He rented the house at Laurel Canyon for Pamela (he also bought her a fashion Boutique), plus they were in an open relationship and didn't necessarily slept together all the time back then. But yes, he did spend some time at that house, only not living there continuously. Congratulations on your videos, I really love those L.A tours! :)

    Thx for your insight. Tangerine is a great example of what it takes to get the job done. That set the precedence of recording a film in LA without getting expensive permits.
    The noted Low Budget Indy film is a testament. While consumer technology is far beyond iPhone 5s, software and a team of players your determination will continue.
    The film sets and catering parties are at a halt. If you choose, you can get inside any of millions of scripts, possibly showing how Covid has halted an industry. Maybe get masks printed up with movie promo add shots or any picture that creates Conceptual Continuity to a moment in time. Maybe 100 films scripted to become 1 film. A collage, new dialog connected to 100 or more films that tells 1 new story. Why not pick 1 scene from each of many film locations from a movie made in LA since film industry first started. Start with concept of Frederick Blechynden film made on South Spring Street in LA in 1897. 1897 - 2020. 6 months of daily shooting. You can create a fundraiser and show basic progress of work in progress.
    I've heard Doughnut Time closed long before Covid hit. Put a camera on any given corner of LA, Quantum Leap,Bill and Ted, time travel of your own design. The eons are closing. time is of affliction.

    I would think that many famous people are very good people and never try to BIG TIME others. Just being so happy they’ve achieved success would make them a better person if they were already a good person. Any star that treats other’s like “The little people” often has short lived and limited success.

    • @suzanneolivar1
      @suzanneolivar1 Před 3 lety

      @@badapple65 Yes. Skulls/ skeletons are not a morbid symbol, on the Day of the Dead they visit relatives gravesites and have food and drink and tell stories and sing as if their loved ones were still physically there with them. They believe the veil between the spirit world and our world is thinnest on that night. They see it as a chance to be close to and celebrate the lives of their departed loved ones.
