- Today me and my girlfriend are flying to Dublin and then Girona. In this video we will show u how it is to be a flight attendant and a typical day at work.
We have a lot of stories to tell you, if you want this series to go on just leave a comment down below and we will keep posting videos about our job!
Would you like to see a video of our vacation in Fuerteventura? Or a series on our journeys around Europe?
Yes please 😊
Yes
@@user-nz7ij5hm8j yes
i like to be cabin crew for RYANAIR
Interesting video. Always nice to see the human side of jobs like this. Thank you
Really awesome video!
I love see contents from flight attendants and this is more interesting, being a couple.
I hope to see more of this from you guys often.
Such an unglamorous, mundane and tiring job. They deserve far more than they earn!
Or something interesting and joyful if you like working with people and provide a great service. Money is not everything
@@mr.k8747 what’s joyful about getting up at 3am and serving tea and coffee, cleaning toilets and dealing with drunk, vomiting passengers?
There are a lot of other parts of this job, first of all we don’t clean any toilet, the people you will meet and the different culture you will experience, the different countries you will live in, it depends on how you see it in the end, even being a doctor can be a shitty job if you don’t like it no?
@@leavingaless perfect reply. If you're passionate about what you do, your work will shine through. Everything has its positives and negatives and it's how you ride them that's important. Anyway, good content and keep up the good work!
As Ex Cabin crew for a U.K. low cost airline, I can confirm the person who wrote this comment has no idea what they are talking about.
The very first time I flew Ryan Air, I flew from Eindhoven, Netherlands, to Milan, Italy. It was a very pleasant 90 minute flight ❤️
Mi manca Italia 😢
Very amazing video. Happy travels and hoping to look forward to new adventures. 👍 😊
I recognize that blonde omg… I think she was the air hostess who helped my flight, bless her!
Really enjoyed that actually, can't wait to see what else you guys do. Keep it up 👍
Cutest couple ever , great video really enjoyed watching you, love you xxx
Great video from a great couple! Flown with Ryanair several times and always found them a good airline. Must admit that the landings do tend to be shall we say somewhat “firm”, but always a clean plane with friendly cabin crew! Keep up the good work!
Firm landings are usually the safest ones.
@@aschmitt3395 Agree wholeheartedly! Floating about for too long is a sure fire way for the TOGA button to be pressed!
Firm landings are safer and also prolong the life of the aircraft's engine.
Fantastic day!✈️👍🏼
i really enjoyed watching that... thanks
Very nice!! Keep it going
I like this type of video !
Love your video
You both seem very friendly. I flew with RyanAir from
BRS-BGY and back this last week and honestly, only one out of all crew members encountered were pleasant which is a huge shame.
I’m ex crew so never understand miserable crew? Makes the job harder.
You guys make it seem so easy to be a flight attendant 😁 Great video! Could you make any video also about the particular challenges and how you deal with them? Aka jet lags, things that bother you, dealing with difficult passengers and stress or when things are not as smooth as expected (and you have to explain people the situation etc.) Like if you can remember any of these if you had them and make an informative video to show that this work should be appreciated more bc some people still romanticize flight attendant’s job. I really admire you guys💚
Thanks a lot, the video will be published soon!!
Bellissimo video !!! È molto interessante vedere com’è la vita degli assistenti di volo e spero di vedere altri video simili. Complimenti !!! 🔝👍🏻😉
Cool, from Fortaleza northeast of BRASIL, hugs.
Amazing video!
Thanks for this vlog. Fly safe. And be safe. Greetings from Los Angeles. Ciao.
Amazing video❤️❤️💕
Great video.
You both look great 😘 Love you both 🥰 C ya soon 😘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice lovey dovey commercial for Ryanair. Somehow I imagine in the real world of Ryanair it's a whole lot different.
Anyway lovely couple doing a tough job. Enjoy 🥰🤗👍👍👸🤴✈✈✈✈
Hi, is not a commercial for anyone hahahah, is just how we work, I’m happy you enjoyed it!
Complimenti ragazzi, professionali e bellissimi🥰
Hope you guys get your working conditions improved!
Its ryanair. They wont.
@@Flying_Viking :/
If they do the company fails
Lmao they don't give a fuck
@@nnmm9088 how's that? Ryanair is the biggest airline company out there
thanks for sharing. 😌❤️
Cool video! Very interesting seeing a ryanair flight from a different perspective. Keep it up. Excited for more content!
Nice video bye bye from Italy
Very nice video! Can you speech for us all ryanair cabin crew announcements in a new video? i love the ryanair cabin speeches 😍
This was so fun and interesting to watch❤️keep it up💖💖💖
🥰🥰
Hello your job looks great and enjoyable. I curious about one thing. You guys are daily fly to another countries and coming back or sometimes do you stay in other countries for a day and next day coming back?
Hi, it happens but not very often, the most of the time we always go back to our base
Love ur vlog
Great vlog guys! Girona is that where Mentour pilot is based as a captain? I have never flown FR.
Hi, thanks, our captains are normally all based in Nuremberg
i think i saw you guys on a flight from barcelona to nador or madrid to nador
Very good video
You are two beautiful people.
Grate video found it very interesting to see what cabin Crew do before and during the flight
What is your favourite route on Ryan Air?
Hi, we really like STN flight and DUB flights!
I've flown into and out of STN about 40 times since 2016, Stansted is my favourite airport. I fly the FR 2434 and FR 2437 route about 4+ times a year.
Great video 🙌🏼 Are you able to always/often work together on the same flights as a couple?
Hi, yes, we are almost the same roaster so we fly quite a lot together!
Love the video thank you!one quick question where are you from Sir? I LOVE YOUR ACCENT please it that way.
Hahahah thank you, I’m Italian
@@leavingaless I knew it. Please keep it that way and more uploads. Stay safe both of you
1:40 Was the co-piot in the cockpit? Just an air steward flying the plane. I´ve have seen some things but this tops it off!
Ehm… there was the FO, as it should be, just not in the frame
beautiful couple
Nice video! Have you ever experienced any emergency like engine failure or a medical incident?
Hi, we have had some medical emergencies onboard, but luckily everyone was fine in the end!
One question, how are the average landings?
Good couple 👍
Cute couple💜🧡...
My hubby and I always flying wit RA and just after one flight I get really tired and craving for food. With my all respect, How you guys are capable of flying so many times daily?
It can be tough, but u get used to it, is not a big deal, we love our job so it’s even easier
you guys are really sweet!
viaggio spesso con la vs compagnia, per ora sempre ottimo
WOW!!
I am a pilot in EMIRATES and nice to see you ❤
Hi! How did you do to manage to be able to fly together most of the times? Was it by luck or did you try anything in particular to fly the same roaster?
Hi, from the beginning we were almost the same roaster, but based in two different places, we tried everything to be based together and we managed to. But the roaster was pure luck
@@leavingaless sorry if I’m being nosy but to have the same base, do you just talk to someone or something like that? Are they flexible at that since you’re a couple? Thanks and sorry for bothering you :)
It depends, they might be, depends on the base availability
please more of thisss
Very nice video, i am an airport ground worker from Olanda. I am a month visiting italy and flew many times with Ryanair Italia. Where are you based?
Enjoy ur time in Italy! We are currently based in Nuremberg
I fly with Ryanair all the time! A great airline, and such lovely staff and aircrew. ❤️ you Ryanair!
I've not been flying with Ryan for 3 years now and I don't miss at all🤭🤭🤭🤭
Flying Ryanair only? Thanks for the planet 😍
Great to fly at their price but if you want a great airline. Fly emirates
Really appreciate what you do and have to put up with. A question please, do passengers still need to have a face mask on the plane. Once again thank you so much.
Unfortunately yes, unless the destination country does not demand wearing masks on public transport. For example, flying from eastern european country such as Poland to Croatia passengers and the crew do not have to.
I use to count the bar at the beginning and end of the day, sell smokeless cigarettes, sell news papers during boarding, report in the crewroom and sales debrief with base or deputy sup each day, follow rule 1 or two seating pax positions, find 189 pax trolleys spaces as they were free to carry out onboard and last but not he least watching pax rumbling to take their seats together as the seats were free first come first serve like the game “SENZA SEDIA”. etc
Believe me your life is EZ with basic salary a free water onboard. LOL
There’s free water now, finally, and the basic salary I guess it depends on your contract/country, most that I known have a basic, rather low, salary.
Hello, thanks for your video,
I have some question about working for ryanair.
1 how is working for ryanair ?
2 is ryanair provide crew meals ?
3 what gonna happen if no-one buys from you the tickets on board
I'm asking you because i got selected for trainning for cabin crew role.
Thank you :)
Hi, working for Ryanair is very particular, different from long range companies, everyday after the shift you will be back home, and personally I love it. Certain days can be really tough, in particular during summer, but with a bit of effort you can manage, it depends on how much u like this job!
No, Ryanair does not provide crew meals.
I’m not sure if I understood you correctly, did you mean if there is no one on board or if we don’t anything from the bar.
@@leavingaless Ciao, he was asking if you had to sell a certain number of "lottery/scratch cards" in each flight.
Hi, no we don’t, nothing happens if we don’t sell any
Pure a me piacerebbe tantissimo fare l’assistente di volo:)
LOV UUUUUU 🥰MISS U
Very interesting video but how is ryanair's treatment of you? Many do not speak well of it due to low salaries and many times of work😕
For us everything really good! Nothing to complain about tbh
They will not say something negative.
Did you fly Girona - dublin - girona and then to nuremberg did i hear in the video?
Hi, we flew NUE-DUB-NUE-GRO-NUE
Sure! Tell us!!!
Tamyra ??? I recognised her!!! I was her colleague in NRN
Yeees, is tam!!
How much do you get paid?
I am a GHA at Ryanair in dublin, have good one, I might see u at dub airport
Hope to see you soon!
i’d love to hear the flight attendant stories!
The video will be out soon!
The problem is there isn't a story...When you work for low budget airline..You just fly, you don't see the world..You are sweating inside the cabin for 13 hours in that tiny space filled with 230 passengers..At the end of each flight u are picking up the trash from the cabin and lavatories.Basically we touch shit every day..
@@milaa3601 nope they specifically said that they’d like to make a video on their funny flight attendant stories. that’s why i commented
We actually have a lot of funny stories to tell, that it doesn’t need to be an incredible story in a country, there is a lot more
The bro is blanking out the Ryanair sign
The bro had no choice🤦🏻♂️
Ryanair and Co. ruined the once highly regarded job as a flight attendant.
Of course, the recruitment requirements were much higher 40 years ago, you had to have a high-school diploma or a qualified secondary school leaving certificate and completed vocational training to apply for becomming a flight attendant.
And you had to be fluent in English and basic knowledge of a second foreign language aside of your own mother tongue.
And the job was really a little glamourous: sometimes staying at 5-star Hotels, days off at great destinations around the world during your crew layovers.
That was really a job for lifetime, even though tough as well.
As a former flight attendant (1982 - 2015) I sometimes envy today's flight attendants, but I surely won't apply for this job today.
ALLWAYS HAPPY LANDINGS!
Hey, you still need all of these requirements, Ryanair only requires English, i guess most of us still speak at least two languages. From my point of view they managed to normalise this job in a way, we can go home everyday after work and we have our days off that we can enjoy without the need to worry about jet-lag and feeling tired.
Maybe in the past was more of an elite job, while now is something that almost everyone can do, but that gives you the opportunity to do it for a long time and you can also settle down.
ofc there are pros and cons of working now and in the past, but let’s enjoy what we have.
This job is amazing!
Us in retail - we understand - its do this - do that - Big up us elves - we are never understood.
Do you do this every day or once or twice a week?
We have 5 days on duty and 3 days off
Hi, guys
Lovely both and working enjoy it
Looks great!
I will interview Ryanair and would you give some advice, please? :)
Hi, just be confident in yourself, show them how much u want this job and that u are willing to work hard and be flexible for the company!
Did the captain leave the cockpit empty to go to the loo? Thought there were two pilots?
There was the FO in the cockpit w me
you don't do a pre-flight briefing ?
Yes, we do it inside the aircraft
What, no drunks fighting?
One of the door was INOP? I saw the red stripe on the Window blind
Hi, it’s a procedure for the slides
On Boeing aircrafts, they indicate with that red stripe that the door is armed for example when on the ground, someone who might want to open it and for whatever reason the door is armed. If you would open the door with the slide armed while there are ground stairs and you are standing on top, well yea, that could and will cause serious injuries, not to mention the cost to either refold/buy a new slide and install back it into the door.
Do you get to travel on your days off?
Yes! I answered also in the new video!
wait.. where you on the plane from Ibiza to Munich on 2nd August 19:15-20-45
Nope :/ we only fly from nurnberg and to nurnberg
@@leavingaless yeah, i meant nürnberg
Yes it was me hahaha
@@leavingaless yeah ik, super random i even asked you guys if your serious in selling lottery tickets and then i bought a tiny bottle of bombay gin lmao
NOT EASY. HOW MANY HOURS DO YOU WORK? 14 ? I THINK YOU STAY VERY TIRED. NICE FLTS FOR EVERY CREW
How is the pay? I heard Ryanair employees are doing multiple strike because they aren't getting paid enough
The captain letting you in the cockpit midflight is amazing tho
Hey, being in the cockpit is part of the procedure, people are striking in Italy and Spain, here in Germany all good!
Yes, the law says there MUST be 2 persons on the flight deck at all times.
Can cabin crew couples operates everyday with each other in same flight please help me out of this problem
It depends, we are the same roster so we operate together quite a lot, you can ask to have the same roster, you won’t operate every single day together, but quite often
@@leavingaless like in one month how many days u both operates alone and how many days you go together..
I honestly don’t keep the count, if we fly 10 days, 5/6 days for sure, but even if we don’t fly together we meet after work at home, so it’s not big deal
@@leavingaless thank you so much 💕
I love ryanair 😊 Respect or the cabin crew 🥰
Why do you cover up the name of Ryanair on the plane when we can tell its ryanair by the plane and uniforms
The captain had to use the restroom but both flight chairs were empty with only an attendant standing in the cabin. What happened to the co-pilot? Why were both chairs empty?
The first officer was there, just not captured in the frame
Hope you joined the mile high club guys 😉
Isn‘t that Nuremberg in the beginning?
Yes, we work in nue
Guys, how many hours per day or week you usually work? (I understand that it is always different, but if you can say me approximately).
Depends a lot on the base, currently around 40/50 hours a month
Thank you for your response! I've just received an offer from Ryanair and I'm in the process of gathering documents. Do you know if they require the EHIC medical card, and do I need to show it to them, or is it okay just to say that Ihave it? The thing is, I have the right to obtain it, but it will take 2 - 3 months to get it.
you are too cute to do a job as a couple
What a shitty job. I feel sorry for them
It's an amazing job
What is scratch cards?
Alle 4.30 di quella mattina io sicuramente mi giravo dall'altra parte del letto per dormire. Comunque non avete contato i bicchieri...
Where is the hostess from?
Tam is from Malta
The pilot was alone at the cockpit? Then he went to ws no one was there;like pilot wow
There was the first officer inside with me, just not captured in the frame
What song at 0:08
How do u guys meet?
We met at the training course
1:40 for me this part is censored
Where do you actually live?
We live in Nuremberg from 5 months
Come avete esercitato il vostro inglese?
Personalmente avevo una base solida già prima del corso, ma anche il solo parlare con gli altri ha aiutato tantissimo nel rendermi fluido e sicuro di me
You have to buy your own food???
Yess
